An overjoyed Duke and Duchess of
Cambridge are the proud parents of a healthy baby boy as the nation
celebrates the birth of a future king. Kate gave birth to a healthy baby boy at 4.24pm today at the
private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital weighing 81b 6oz.
Her
Royal Highness and her child are both doing well and will remain in
hospital overnight, said a spokesman for t he palace. Palace sources said
the couple chose to delay the public announcement of the birth to allow
them to spend 'quality time' together. The long-awaited baby will be given the title His Royal Highness and be known as Prince of Cambridge. The baby's name may be announced when the family leaves the hospital. Congrats to the new parents.
