PSQUARE BUILDING ANOTHER MEGA HOUSE IN IKOYI

Peter and Paul Okoye together with their brother, Jude Okoye, are building another massive house in Park View Estate, Ikoyi. Construction of the house began in June last year  and will finish this year. According to a source close to the twins, the new house, which will also be a twin duplex like their Omole Estate home, will be called Squareville2. Squareville2 is costing them more than their Omole Estate mansion.

It is rumoured that they bought the land in Parkview Estate for N200million and will spend another N200m to erect their dream home. #bigboyztinz#

Unknown gunmen, suspected to be cultists, shot dead rising hip-hop artiste, Olaniyan Damilola a.k.a Damino Damoche, at the Lagos State University, LASU, gate in Lagos this afternoon. Damino had just finished writing a test and was on his way out of the school when he was shot in the head twice by the gunmen.  Damino was a Banking and Finance student. PROTEST IN EKET, AKWA IBOM, OVER DEATH OF SIX PUPILS

Six pupils of Kingdom Heritage Nursery and Primary School, Eke, were killed in a fatal accident when their school vehicle fell into a ditch on Eket-Ibeno Road, last month. The school driver lost control of the vehicle, he tried in vain to dodge many bad spots on the road. Some of the pupils diednon the spot while the injured ones were rushed to a nearby hospital.

The deaths of the pupils sparked off a protest on Wednesday the  as youths felt the pupils would have lived if the road was in good order. Due to  the dilapidated state of the Eket-Ibeno road, there has been several road accidents and criminals have capitalised on it to carry out robbery and kidnapping activities.

I know Governor Akpabio has done a lot for the state of Akwa Ibom but their still more to be dine. Pls, if any of the governor's people is reading this, kindly bring this to the attention of the Governor and put an end to this unnecessary loss of lives.

GOLDIE COULD HAVE LIVED BUT FOR TRAFFIC ON VALENTINE'S DAY

According to the tribute paid to the late singer by her younger brother, Joshua, Goldie could have lived if she had gotten to the hospital on time. While reading Goldie’s biography, Joshua said Goldie fell into a coma and did not get to the hospital on time because of the traffic caused by Valentine Day celebration. Narrating her last moments, Joshua said the last person his sister spoke to before her death was their father whom she asked to pray for her. He said;

“Although Bimpe (Goldie) appeared energetic and happy all her life, on February 14, 2013, she complained of headache which led to her death. Her last words were with her father when she snatched the phone from her brother and asked that she wanted to talk to daddy. “While crying about a splitting headache, she asked for prayer support. Alas she went into a coma almost immediately and died on the way to the hospital due to the Valentine traffic.”

Goldiedied of cerebral hemorrhage and heart disease on February 14, 2012 around 7.30pm at Reddington Hospital, Victoria Island. Doctors at the hospital said she was brought in dead.

FOUR NASSARAWA STATE UNIVERSITY KILLED, SCHOOL SHUT DOWN

Four Nasarawa State University students were brutally murdered and seven other wounded by Soldiers today who were brought into the school to quell a peaceful protest by the students. The students were protesting  over the shortage of water supply within the University around 8a.m today when suddenly some military men stormed the university campus shooting sporadically. 15 students were shot and four of them died. Nobody knows who called the Soldiers but the school has been shut down on the orders of the university authority and as at 3pm today, the military men were still harassing any students they saw within the premises of the university.

What is going on in this country?  Even our schools are no longer safe? I'm waiting for the spin the Military is going to put on this. I'm beginning to lose hope in this country. So sad, smh.

GOSPEL ARTISTE, LANRE TERIBA, SHOT IN SOUTH AFRICA

Gospel singer, Lanre‘Atorise’Teriba and Dele Taiwo were in South Africa on the 15th of this month to perform at a Valentine show tagged Praise Night Concert. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the unpleasant when after the show, Lanre was attacked by unknown men and was shot in the leg during the robbery attack . He was robbed of his phones, Ipad and Gold wrist watch. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Pretoria. Dele Taiwo who was also present at the event was not attacked.

Thank God he's going to be fine.

Kim kardashian's visit to Nigeria last week has opened up a can of worms as it has now been revealed that President Jonathan, while still the Governor of Bayelsa state, paid $1million of aid money to  international popstars such as Beyonce and Jay-Z to perform at THISDAY music festival in 2006.
