PASTOR ORITSEJAFOR DONATES CARS, TRICYCLES

President of Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, has donated cars, tricycles and other items to the less priviledged. A statement by his Special Assistant (Media and Public Affairs), Mr. Kenny Ashaka, said the cleric gave out six brand new Hyundai cars, 15 tricycles, 100 grinding machines, 3.8KVA power generating plants and 200 bags of rice in Warri, Delta State, on Wednesday.

According to the statement, Oritsejafor made the donations to reduce poverty in the country.

The yearly empowerment programme was organised by the World of Life Bible Church through Eagle Flight Micro Finance Bank owned by the church.

NIGERIAN-AMERICAN RAPPER, WALE, NOMINATED FOR GRAMMY AWARDS

Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, stage name Wale, is a Nigerian-American rapper from Washington D.C. Wale was born to Nigerian parents on September 21, 1984. The rapper rode into the American top 10 music charts in 2006 with the song, "Dig Dug (Shake It)". His rap song Breakdown was featured on the video game, Madden NFL 2009. He was signed on to Rick Ross music group and soon after, to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation for management.

He has been nominated for the Soul Train Music Awards, MTV U Woodie Award, BET Hip Hop Awards, which he won early in 2012 for the Best Collaboration title. And now his song, "Lotus Flower Bom", featuring Miguel, has been nominated for the Grammy Award in the Best Rap Song category.

OBAFEMI MARTINS CONFIRMS ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP WITH MARIO BALOTELLI'S SISTER

There's been rumour going round that Obafemi Martins is dating Mario Balotelli's elder sister, Abigail Barwuash and that Mario is  not in support of the relationship. In a recent interview with goal.com, Obafemi confirmed that he is infact dating Abigail and also that Mario has no objections to their relationship;

 “Mario is my boy. The respect is there because I used to play at Inter, in the youth team with him. He’s giving me my respect and I’m doing same. People are putting it in the news that he’s upset, of course he’s glad.

D'BANJ APOLOGISES FOR THE 'TREK OF LIFE' HE PUT PEOPLE THROUGH FOR HIS KOKO CONCERT

I heard artistes and fans who came out for D'banj's Koko Concert had to walk a very far distance from where their cars were parked to the venue of the concert. COVENANT UNIVERSITY EXPELS OVER 160 STUDENTS FOR NOT ATTENDING CHURCH SERVICE

About 160 students have been expelled from Covenant University, Cannanland, Ota, Ogun State by the authorities of the school. Cannanland, Ota, Ogun State, recently for what was described as “disregard of paramount core values.” 

I just called my very close friend's brother who is in Covenant to confirm and he said it's true. According to him, during their departure service, meant to sign off from the school after the end of the Semester and Matriculation of students on November 30, some students were sitting outside gisting and loitering around but unknown to them 'Papa' as they call Bishop Oyedepo, was on his way to the service. 

 Expelling students for not attending a service after paying such high sums in school fees? How many of you agree with me that that's too extreme a  punishment for not attending a service. I've heard that David Oyedepo is very quick to anger and sometimes curse the students.Continue to read after the cut...
