Yesterday, the Federal Government
lifted the suspension on Dana Airlines after a meeting among officials of the
airline, Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, and Aviation Ministry in
Abuja. Above is the statement from Dana.
The airline will resume flight operations today. They were
suspended on Saturday, 16th March, 2013 for a ‘snag’ in one of their
aircrafts. However, the particular aircraft which had a snag over the weekend
is to remain grounded until after its air-worthiness has been re-certified by
Boeing, the manufacturer of the aircraft.
