NOLLYWOOD GENERATES N126.4B, RANKS THIRD IN THE WORLD

Nigeria’s film industry, (Nollywood) has reportedly generated about N126.4bn ($800m) in the last three years, making it the third highest revenue earner in the world behind American film industry, Hollywood which is first in world, and India’s film industry Bollywood is second. According to the managing director of the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) Robert Orya, Nigeria is Africa’s biggest movie producer. 

Whoa, all of y'all that are bad-mouthing our Nollywood, shame on you (dodging my head). Okay, okay, I know they have lots of flaws, but they are also making us proud in the global entertainment industry. When you scold a child with your right hand, you draw him/her closer with the left, right?
