WHAT ARE WE TURNING INTO? HIT & RUN VICTIM DIES AS PASSERS BY REFUSED TO HELP BUT STOLE HIS ATM CARD
Nigerians seriously need to start appreciating how precious and priceless life is, and once it is taken away, it can never be returned that. A young man, identified as Oluwayemi
Oguntimehin, was on Tuesday killed after he was crushed by a hit-and-run
driver, around 7am, along the Mafoluku/Ibadan Express-way, Lagos.
According to an eyewitness, Ilesanmi Olabode, who was on his way to his office when the accident occurred, the deceased, who sustained head injuries and fractured limbs would have survived
the accident if he had been taken to a hospital immediately.
Olabode said, “It was around 7am when I
was going to my office. I just saw that the guy, while trying to cross
the expressway, was hit by the car. I quickly rushed there and with the support of some other people, we carried him to the Mafoluku/Gbagada bus stop. I saw that he was still alive but all
the vehicles we tried to flag down to help us take him to the Gbagada
General Hospital refused to stop, including a Lagos State Emergency
bus.”
According to him, a tricycle however stopped, but because there were
not enough people to support, the victim was left to die. He said he handed over the victim to an
official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, who promised
to call his colleagues to evacuate him.
“But to my surprise, when I came back to
check, I saw that Oguntimehin was still on the road and was now dead.
One of his two ATM cards, which I saw on him, was missing. I believed it
had been stolen,” he said.
The General Secretary, Council of
Oworonsoki Youth Forum, Mr. Kabiawu Babajide, told our correspondent
that Oguntimehin was identified through his UBA ATM card.
Such a senseless and avoidable death. That's someone's son, brother, husband, or father and people just refused to help? SMH. I tire for Nigerians; they are quick to mete out justice and kill, but slow to save a life. See the photo of the deceased after the cut but viewer discretion is advised...
ASSOCIATED AIRLINE CRASH: ONE OF SEVEN SURVIVOR DIES
One of the 7 survivors in the ill fated Associated Airline crash last week Thursday has died, raising the death toll to 14. The State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris disclosed that out
of the seven survivors, two were in critical conditions and
unfortunately one died over the weekend while the other one in the
critical state had an operation and is still in critical state. He confirmed that the remaining four are in stable condition. No word yet on the identity of the victim who died. So sad. I wish the others speedy recovery.
BRUCE AND KRIS JENNER SEPARATE AFTER 22 YEARS OF MARRIAGE

they are separated after 22 years of marriage. There had been rumors of their separation for

Kris and Bruce have two daughters, Kendall,
17, and Kylie, 16, together, and four children each from previous relationships.

six-year-old girl, Mariam Adeniji, is currently in shock after
witnessing the killing of her father, Rafiu Adeniji, who was allegedly
shot dead by policemen on Sunday. The little girl, who spoke to PUNCH Metro
while trying to fight back tears, said her father was killed after
challenging policemen over an accident along the Mangoro end of
Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway.
She said, “My daddy was driving home
when someone hit his car. He went to see the policemen; they just
brought out their guns and shot him. They then ran away.”

Only in Nigeria can the Aviation Minister make such careless statements. Does that mean there is no God in countries that record almost zero aviation casualties? The fact that she is even saying these crashes are the act of God is very offensive and irresponsible of her, when there's no doubt that the planes that crashed were faulty and were not fit to fly and should have been detected by her office. ABANDONED ASSOCIATED AIR CREW WHO SURVIVED THE CRASH NEED FINANCIAL HELP
Associated Airline hostesses, Toyin Samson and Queeneth
Owolabi are among the survivors of the Associated Airlines crash that occurred
on Thursday October 3rd Thursday. They are currently receiving treatment for
third degree burns at the Ikeja General Hospital, Lagos and according to reports;
they’ve practically been abandoned to their fates by the airline. Their friends
are now trying to raise money for their treatment and they are requesting for
financial help from well meaning Nigerians. The money raised will be used to transfer them
to a better hospital where they can get better treatment. Pls, kindly come to

MISSING FEMALE LAWYER'S BODY FOUND MUTILATED IN HER OFFICE
Police
in Abuja are investigating the suspected murder of a female lawyer, Mrs. Ijeoma
Micah, whose lifeless body was found mutilated, yesterday, in her chambers in
the highbrow Maitama area of Abuja. Ijeoma,
the owner of Micah and Micah Chambers, was found dead in her office three days
after she was said to have gone missing.
Her
husband, who it was learnt, arrived from London on Sunday morning, rushed to
her office, as it was gathered that he had not heard from her for three days,
only to discover her lifeless body. He
reported the matter to Area Command of the police in Maitama. Contacted
on the development, Commissioner of Police FCT, Femi Ogunbayode, said that from
investigations, it was discovered that some men had called Ijeoma to her office
for some business, which she went for and afterwards, nothing was heard from
her.
