Wande Coal has quietly left Mavin Records and both parties have agreed to keep it as quite as possible.  If you've noticed, Wande hasn't been seen much with Don Jazzy like you see him with Dr. SID. Wande has moved on and has started his own record label, Black Diamond Entertainment. He has also changed his twitter bio to his new label name and nothing referring to his former label, Mavin Records.

Last week, I wrote a post about Florence Ngwu, a 300L student of University of Nigeria that was supposedly found dead in a hotel in Lagos. It turns out it was a photo from a movie titled 'Murder at Prime Suite Hotel', a fictional story but similar to the Cynthia Osogwu murder story.

The character's name is Florence Ngwu played by an actress. The movie stars Joseph Benjamin and Chelsea Eze. The producers of the movie have released a statement. Read it after the cut...

A 21-year-old woman, Rebecca Bassey, has been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly beating her husband’s three-year-old niece, Deborah Bassey, to death. According to police authorities, the suspect beat up the girl because she vomited and defecated on herself. A police source told PUNCH Metro on Thursday  that the incident occurred at Ijaiye Ojokoro area of the state on July 22, 2013.

He said, “The victim (Deborah) lost her mother in 2010. Early this year, Deborah’s father was evicted from his home and he decided to send Deborah and his second child to go and stay with his brother, Vincent, until he settles down.

Aevin Dugas has the world's largest Afro, at 4ft 4ins long, her hair has entered the Guinness Book of Records. Aevin started growing her natural 14 years ago after being inspired by a photo of her mum in Afro in the sixties.

The 37-year-old says it can take two days to wash and dry and is so big she struggles to see clearly out from beneath it. When washing, she shampoos it and then uses up to five conditioners and then puts her hair into two French braids and from then it takes about two days to dry. ROBBER STRIPPED AND ALMOST BEATEN TO DEATH (PHOTOS)

According to an eyewitness, the man in the ditch snatched a woman’s handbag in Ugbeyi Sapele, Delta State, and sped off on his motorcycle. The poor woman couldn’t raise an alarm, but fortunately a soldier who saw her bag get snatched quickly borrowed someone’s Hilux and gave the thief a hot chase. Somehow, the thief got away.

Fortunately, nemesis caught up with the thief when he got to Shell road. Some young men noticed the motorcyclist was holding an handbag but was without a passenger. When the thief was approached, he sped off. But unknown to him, where he rode to was a dead-end. The youth chased him into the bush, caught him, battered him, and threw him into a pit, waiting for the police to arrive.
