I USE MY JET TO MONITOR CHURCHES - PASTOR ADEBOYE

In an interview with Aljazeera yesterday, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeoye justified his ownership of a private jet by saying it is necessary for efficiency in his assignment. 

The interview was part of a documentary on the RCCG’s monthly Holy Ghost Congress, and revolved around the veracity of the miracles and the wealth of preachers and heads of churches. Aljazeera’s Mohammed Adow, questioned the ownership of the palatial residences and the private jets by Nigerian church leaders, who he said had become wealthy through miracle preaching. Here is what Pastor Adeboye said; 

 “There are things you need, which you must have if you are to be efficient. If you have to oversee churches in 160 nations, you can’t do that on a bicycle.”

“If the people have not been getting their miracles, by now, they would have stopped coming. If you listen to some of the testimonies, you will hear of miracles of healing, miracles of deliverance, miracles of child birth; miracles of success in academics etc.”

I agree with him that a jet makes it easier for him to reach and oversee the numerous branches RCCG  has all over the world but for G.Os of churches that have only one branch or very few branches within the country, what are you using a jet for?

SCANDAL OF THE YEAR: NOLLYWOOD ACTOR'S WEDDING TO MISTRESS DISRUPTED BY PREGNANT WIFE TODAY

Ok, this is gonna sound like a Nollywood movie, even though an actor is involved, it is not! Nollywood actor, Solomon Akiyesi and is wife Lilian Akiyesi, have been married for seven years without a child and finally, she got pregnant last year. They are based in Port Harcourt but unknown to her, her husband has been having an affair with a lady in Lagos and she's also pregnant. 

As if that's not enough, he went as far as planning a wedding with her. The wedding was supposed to take place today at overcomers World outreach, off Ramlat street, Aguda, Surulere. Luckily for Lilian who is about 8 months pregnant, she got wind of it and stormed the secret wedding with Policemen and some family members before the pastor joined her husband and his pregnant mistress, causing a huge uproar and pandemonium. Solomon had lied to his wife that he was coming to Lagos for a movie shoot.

Of course, the wedding was cancelled. Men!!!! What a wicked thing to do. I'm sure there are so many men out there living double lives. This should be an example to you. Nothing is hidden for ever. Poor woman! See the event in pictures after the cut...

Olubukola Salako is the  first wife of  Kayode Salako who recently married  Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola. The drama surrounding this marriage is unending. Bukola has barely talked since she lost her husband to Foluke Daramola. She has moved, along with her 3 children, (all boys)  away from her matrimonial home in Omole Phase I, Lagos to an undisclosed location. It's been over a year and she recently spoke with with E24-7 MAGAZINE on the claim  that the lady who introduced Foluke to Kayode is worried by her conscience  and the ‘Holy Ghost’ wants her to apologise to her. Yes,  one thing about me is that in as much as that the news going round I don’t have  anything to say, I’m the kind of person that allows God to do his work,  I will not help God to do anything, God is doing his work . Whatever God feels He wants to do is what He should do. All that’s happening now in the media is just God doing his work. I will allow God to do His work and I will not say anything. I will just allow BABA to do his work

We learnt that you  are planning to go into marriage again. Is it true?

I would love to remarry. In fact, I’m designed to be under a man. I’m not going to lie that I like this ‘single mother nomenclature. But whereby there is no one at the moment, one is bound to get used to the situation. It’s not a ‘do- or -die affair’ because I have been there before, anything I’m going to do now,it has to be done right. I’m not in the school of thought, where the first one happened and perhaps, the second one. No, any bold step I have to take in settling down again, it has to be right. I’m not ready to make another mistake. But I will definitely remarry. I believe in the principles of marriage. Whether you like it or not, marriage is a better option.

Your fans would want to know if there is any man in your life at the moment?

SPOTTED: KAREN IGHO PARTIES WITH FORMER BBA HOUSEMATE LUCLAY AT ELEGUSHI BEACH

Otono Luclay represented South Africa at the BBA last year and he and Karen were quite close in the house even though there were moments where they were at each others throats. They were spotted at Vertigo Lounge, Elegushi beach last Sunday, during Karen's beach birthday party. He also came to Nigeria last year to celebrate with her on her birthday. About 16 men of God also attended our brother’s wedding to Foluke Daramola-Salako on the 15th of March to witness and conduct the traditional solemnization ceremony. Were all these men of God also jazzed by Foluke, if she has ‘jazzed’ all of us, the family members already?
