A University of Louisville basketball player, 20-year-old Kevin Ware, suffered a gruesome leg fracture that left the bone in his right leg protruding in front of millions of horrified TV viewers on Sunday night leaving him with one of the most tragic and gruesome injuries in sports. His leg was broken in two with his bone sticking out. “Our attention has been attracted by some curiosity in a cross section of the public and particularly the media, about the movement of Her Excellency, the First Lady, Dame (Dr) Patience Goodluck Jonathan. For the avoidance of doubts and ambiguities, we wish to state that the First Lady travelled to Dubai, after which she proceeded to Paris, France, to participate in the 1^st Green Women Conference, which took place in Paris on March 17, 2013 where she received the 2013 Global Women Leaders’ Award for Peace.

“She thereafter proceeded to Italy from where she went to Germany to see her mother, Mama Sisi, who is currently receiving medical attention.

Telecommunication giant,  Glo, has brought the world famous music reality TV show, The X-Factor, to Africa. It will be the first time the show will come to Africa and is going to be the biggest music competition in Africa. The ultimate winner of the spectacular show will cart home a huge sum of $150,000 (N24 million). He or she will also win a recording contract with the internationally acclaimed Sony Music for the recording of an album and professional management of the winning individual or group. Wow!

The X-Factor was unveiled on Wednesday night at the GET Arena, Lekki, Lagos and the month-long pre-auditions, which are the first stage, will kick off in Abuja on April 13 and later hold in Port Harcourt and Lagos. It will also run in Accra and Kumasi in Ghana.

POLICEMAN SHOT DEAD AT THE WEDDING OF HIS TWO DAUGHTERS

A policeman was killed by unknown gunmen at the wedding  of his two daughters  in Damboa town in Damboa local government area of Borno State, local sources said yesterday, saying the incident happened on Friday.

Residents told our correspondent that the deceased policeman was shot dead in front of his house while conducting the wedding Fatiha of his daughters shortly after the Friday congregation prayer(Jumat). It was gathered that the policeman ran from the  town for months following death threat sent to him by unknown persons only to return to the town last week in order to marry out his daughters.

After an angry female fan lashed out at Tuface for doing his wedding in Dubai, the super star came out to apologize to his fans saying he will make it up to them. Read is very hilarious but true statement;

OMG! CHINESE EAT BABIES!!! VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED

As I report this, my heart is beating so much fatser than usual. Being a mother makes this even more difficult to talk about. Just stumbled on this story of some Chinese including a town in the southern province of Canton (Guangdong) that eat babies and fetuses

There are several vivid and appalling pictures of human embryos fetuses being made into a soup for human consumption to increase their health and their sexual performance and it costs $4,000. What the heck!!! 

According to a factory manager, it is a delicacy whereby expensive herbs are added to boil the baby with chicken meat for eight hours of boiling and steaming and he testified that it is effective because he is a frequent customer. He took the reporter to the restaurant when he was informed by restaurant manager that the spare rib soup (local code for baby soup) was now available.

PATIENCE JONATHAN FLOWN ABROAD FOR TREATMENT AGAIN

According to Sahara Reporters, the wife of President Goodluck Jonathan, Patience, has been flown abroad for medical treatment in an undisclosed German hospital again. It appears her health might have relapsed, thereby necessitating her going abroad to receive medical attention.

She was absent at a Good Friday service held at the Aso Villa Chapel on Friday and some other recent engagements.The first lady’s spokesman, Mr. Ayo Osinlu, confirmed that the First Lady was not in the country but denied reports that Mrs. Jonathan is abroad for medical attention. He said she was abroad attending to her foster mother who is sick but he did not disclose the country where her sick mother is. We wish her well.
