8 YEAR-OLD BOY MARRIES A 61 YEAR-OLD WOMAN

 

Over the weekend, an eight year-old school boy Sanele Masilela tied the knot with 61 year-old Helen Shabangu, who is already married and a mother of five. According to the boy, he married the woman because the ghost of his dead ancestor told him to. He married Helen in accordance with the wishes of his dead ancestors, and his family provided Helen with £500 and paid a further £1,000 for the celebration.

BABY SHOT BY ARMED ROBBERS IN LAGOS DIES 6 MONTHS AFTER

Taiwo Lawal is the one-year-old boy who was shot during a series of robbery attacks in Lagos on September 9, 2012 (if you missed it, read it HERE and HERE). Taiwo was hit in the head by a stray bullet in front of his parents home in Gbagada during the robbery attack and after seven months of battling with complications from the gunshot  wound, sadly, he died on March 7, 2013 at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi Araba.

After the incident, his parents asked for financial donations from Nigerians for Taiwo’s treatment and MTN donated N500,000 and some members of the public also donated undisclosed sums of money.

The deceased’s distraught father, Wasiu, said the death was more painful because of the amount of money the family had spent.

KIM K GETS VAMPIRE FACIALS

On the new episode of her reality show 'Kourtney and Kim Take Miami', Kim was seen trying out the latest beauty technique called ‘Vampire Facial’. It’s a treatment where the patient's own blood is used to make improvements to the skin.

Blood was drawn from Kim’s arm and the platelets were removed from it before splattering it into Kim's face using nine tiny little acupuncture-style needles. The procedure is non-invasive with the aim of rejuvenating the skin.
