Murder suspect, Paralympic superstar, Oscar Pistorius, has been
released on bail following a ruling by a magistrate in South Africa this afternoon that he should not
be locked up until his trial for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
His bail was set at one
million rand (£73,822) including 100,000 RND (7,382) in cash. Conditions
of his release include that he surrenders his passports and travel
documents, does not visit his house where the model died and does not
use any prohibited substances. He is also banned from drinking alcohol and leaving Pretoria.
The double-amputee Olympian's next court appearance was set for June 4. Free to live his life for the next 4 months after killing someone? It's just not right. His coach even wants him to start training on Monday. Above is Oscar's illustration of what happened the day he killed his girlfriend.
