The power couple paid $1m (N153million) to rent a nursery inside the Barclays Center for their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, who is almost a year old. The luxurious basement suite costs $1 million a year. When Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z watches basketball games at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, their daughter, Blue, 12 months, chills downstairs in a nursery! Money is talking!!

TUFACE AND ANNIE IDIBIA SET TO HAVE A WHITE WEDDING

Tuface and Annie are planning to have their church wedding most likely in February (might even be on the 14th of February, exactly a year after he proposed to her). The couple legalised their union in a Lagos registry  on May 1, 2012 but are yet to do the traditional and white wedding which will all happen early this year, I'm told. ZAMFARA GOVT. ARRANGES HUSBAND FOR 2,000 WIDOWS

Hehehe, this our government no go kill person with laughter. The Zamfara state Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, Hajia Balkisu Bungudu just announced that they are planning to ‘’arrange husbands’’ for about 2,000 widows in the state. The state government has already registered 1,998 widows  to marry off, adding that the mass wedding would be sponsored by the government.

This was done in Kano last year May, when the Kano State government- owned Sharia police (Hisbah Borad), arranged marriages for about 100  out of an estimated 1,000 widows and divorcees

Like seriously? Did the women say they can't find husbands on their own or what? Another way to 'chop' money and provide unnecessary contracts for their family members. Smh.

KOGI SPEAKER INVOLVED IN AUTO CRASH, POLICE ESCORT DEAD

Barely a week after the Kogi State Governor, Captain Idris Wada, was involved in a road accident that claimed the life of his Aide-de-Camp, the convoy of the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Lawal Jimoh, was involved in another ghastly motor accident, which killed a police escort instantly. Jimoh was travelling to his home town in Okene, according to reports, when a heavy duty truck ran into his escort van at Osara, along Okene road.

The Speaker’s vehicle, was however not affected in the accident, but a police corporal Lamidi Akeem, who was in the affected vehicle, gave up the ghost at a hospital on Thursday.

It is presumed by law that because Kim is married to Kris, that it is his baby and Kris can attempt to claim custody. Kim will have to prove that he isn’t. However, he will most likely want to prove that it is not his child also, so that he won't have to pay child support.

Because of Kris’s basketball schedule, their divorce court date will not happen until June, which is exactly when Kim is due to give birth, so she will most likely still be married when having her baby. Sorrow and sadness on Thursday enveloped Robiyan, near Ijoko in Ifo Local Government, Ogun State as residents discovered the lifeless bodies of an 80 year-old woman, identified as Madam Kuburat, and her four grandchildren, including a toddler in a newly completed house.

Five other people who slept in the house were in critical conditions at two general hospitals as doctors battle to save their lives.

DANA AIR TO RESUME FLIGHT OPERATIONS TOMORROW

Dana Air will be resuming flight operation on Jan. 4, that's tomorrow. The first flight which will take off from Abuja is scheduled at 9.45a.m

This was made known by Shallangwa, Head of Commercial at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Internatonal Airport, Abuja today. He stated  that there was nothing wrong in the airline re-emerging after an accident that claimed lives and property. The Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, had issued a resumption letter to the airline to recommence operation after its plane crashed in Lagos on June 3, 2012, killing all 153 passengers and crew. In September 2012, the Federal Government reinstated the Airline’s license and in December 2012, NCAA issued a new Air Operators Certificate to Dana Air after it completed the necessary re-certification processes.
