Rumors have been swirling around for years that suspect R&B artist Trey Songz is gay. Recently, a photo hit the web that reignited those rumors. The photo shows a man who resembles Trey kissing another young man in the backseat of a car. Well, it looks like Trey wasn’t feeling the negativity and took to his Twitter account to shut down the rumor….

Whoever that is in the pic (if it really isn't him,'cos it sure looks like him to me) must be is doppleganger.

JANET JACKSON ENGAGED TO QUATARI BILLIONARE BUSINESSMAN

 Janet Jackson has reportedly become engaged to Qatari billionaire Wissam Al Mana. They've been dating since 2010. According to US Weekly, the 37-year-old businessman 'gave her a huge, expensive ring' and the 46-year-old pop star is so afraid it will get lost, she keeps it locked up. Wissam is the managing director of Al Mana Retail, which represents A/X Armani Exchange, and he's a shareholder in the Saks Fifth Avenue.

NELSON MANDELA DISCHARGED FROM THE HOSPITAL

After two weeks in the hospital, former South African president, Nelson Mandela was discharged today yesterday December 26th after about three weeks in the hospital. The 94 year old was admitted to the hospital on Saturday December 8th to receive treatment for a lung infection and surgery to remove gallstones, which the doctors say was successful.

OBAFEMI MARTINS SPENDS CHRISTMAS IN ORPHANAGES AND HOSPITALS

Obafemi visited orphanages and donated gifts to them while also paying the hospital bills of babies born on Christmas day in some hospitals and giving their mothers some cash as well. Very thoughtful of him. This is what this season is all about - giving.

Babalola Gabriel, aka Bigiano, shot to limelight four years ago with his hit-song, Shayo,and has not been heard off since then. Just when I was beginning to think of him as a one-hit wonder, he granted an interview to LIFE&BEAT, recently saying his absence from the scene these past years was deliberate. “I am back with a new image and motivational songs. I deliberately took the time off to re-position my brand. That was why I stopped performing at shows in Nigeria. “I did not release any record for the past three years because I wanted to spend quality time with my family. But I have been touring parts of the UK and USA and recording songs. “You will hear and see more of Bigiano the entertainer soon. I will be speaking for the oppressed and misused youths of this country. As leaders of tomorrow, Nigerian youths need positive changes. We are sick and tired of lies from our leaders. “If this economic, political and social mismanagement continues like this, we may experience an uprising of the sort that no bullet or tank can stop. “So, my messages will nudge the conscience of our bad leaders and inspire the youths to achieve the New Nigeria Dream for the good of all,” he said.

5 TEENS DROWN IN OMAMBALA RIVER, ANAMBRA

These 4 boys and a girl, 3 of whom were brothers and their sister,  plus a friend,  drowned in the Omambala river at Umuezeanam, Anambra west, while they were swimming for fun having come from Lagos for Christmas holiday. The sad incident occured on the 24th Dec. 2012. My God! Loosing four of your children in one day? What a sad sad Christmas for their parents. May they RIP. So sad.

THE SON OF THE DANFO DRIVER KILLED BY LASTMA OFFICIALS FEARS FOR HIS SIBLINGS FUTURE AFTER THEIR FATHER'S DEATH

The commercial bus driver, Mr. Isaac Popoola, 54, who died on Monday after Adesanya Olatunde and Oludele Ogunrinde, both officials of LASTMA, repeatedly hit his head against the steering and the door frame of his bus in their attempt to forcibly take over the vehicle, had planned to celebrate the new year on Jan. 2, 2013  with his family before his brutal killing.

SIX PEOPLE KILLED IN ATTACK ON A CHURCH IN YOBE

Gunmen attacked a church in Piri Village of Potiskum Local Government area of Yobe state, this morning around 2am during a midnight mass which started on Christmas Eve, killing six people including the pastor, before setting the building ablaze. Eye witness accounts claim that the worshippers of ECWA Church, Piri, were in a prayer session when the unknown gun men suspected to be Boko Haram sect stormed the church killing six of them.

“A group of gunmen came into the village at midnight and went straight to the church.“They opened fire on them, killing the pastor and five worshippers. They then set fire to the church,” said Usman Mansir, a resident of Peri village near Potiskum in Yobe state. The Police Public Relations Officer in Yobe State, Salihu Adamu (DSP) who confirmed the incident. Piri is a village outskirt of Potiskum and predominantly an indigenous Christian settlement. 

This is coming just when families of the victims of St Theresa’s Church  Christmas day bombing in Madalla, Abuja, are remebering the relatives they lost in the suicide bomb attack last Christmas. This is wrong, Christmas shouldn't be a time to mourn. Can't wait for this country to go back to it's peaceful days.

LASTMA OFFICIALS KILL LAGOS BUS DRIVER

A 54 year old commercial bus driver Isaac Popoola, was yesterday killed by a Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, official at Brown Bus stop in Oshodi, around 6.30a.m. Narrating what led to the death of Popoola, his conductor, Aremu Salau, who’s is 56 years old, said that they loaded the bus with 17 passengers  from Isheri heading towards Oshodi, when about seven LASTMA, officials double crossed their bus.
