HOLLYWOOD ACTOR, DENZELE WASHINGTON TO ARRIVE NIGERIA NEXT WEEK

Yaay, one of my favorite actors of all time is coming into Nigeria. I seriously have a crush on this guy, but unfortunately, he is still very much in love with his wife after sooo many years of marriage. Hollywood actor, Denzel Washington, is expected to arrive in Nigeria next week to take part in the shooting of Spider Basket, a new movie funded by Nigerian businessman, Dennis Osadebe.

Osadebe himself arrived in Nigeria from his base in Turkey last Friday in company with his Turkish partner, Abdulkadir Erkahraman. Osadebe’s decision to invest in the entertainment industry appears to be driven by his faith in the abundant talents in the country. “Denzel is just one of many Hollywood stars that I want to witness the talents in this country and to impact significantly on Nollywood. Others are coming. My second movie, By Fire by Force, is due to be premiered this month,” he says.

Osadebe’s DCS Entertainment has signed up two Nigerian artistes, Wandy Boy and V2K.

RIHANNA DONATES $1.7M TO A HOSPITAL IN BARBADOS IN HONOUR OF LATE GRANMA

Rihanna, who is currently in Barbados, her home country, to spend Christmas with her family, has donated $1.75 million  to a Barbados a hospital in memory of her Gran Gran Dolly. Now that's the spirit of Christmas.

Will we ever be rid of jungle justice in this country? Seriously, don't people reflect on past mistakes and events? The Aluu 4 boys who were killed in PH turned out to be innocent but unfortunately, four very promising lives were cut short for NOTHING! Nobody is guilty until proven so by the court of law. On Friday, a man suspected to be a motorcyclist thief was set ablaze by angry youths at a workers’ village, along Kilema Doma road in Lafia, Nasarawa State, while allegedly trying to snatch a motorcycle.

SUICIDE BOMBERS ATTACK MTN AND AIRTEL KANO OFFICES

Two suicide bombers died in coordinated attacks on MTN and Airtel offices yesterday. The two attacks occurred within five minutes indicating a coordinated effort. The first bomber who went to Airtel office succeeded in detonating the bomb which led to the destruction of the office. Only the operator of the company’s generator was injured in the attack which took place at about 8:45am. Lol, to die just to 'injure' a generator, hehehehe, good for him but what a waste of life. JTF spokesman, Ikedichi Iweha, confirmed that with the exception of the two bombers, thankfully, nobody else died in the two coordinated incidents.

He added that the bomber who went to the MTN office was intercepted by security operatives before he could gain entry into the premises at about 8:50 am, adding that he died in the blast instantly. The quick response of the troops around the place averted the destruction of the office but the fence was touched in the coordinated attack. All these stupid bombers will continue to die on their own without taking any innocent lives with them.

NKIRU SYLVANUS'S FAMILY PAID KIDNAPPERS N8M

According to the police in Owerri,Imo state, Nkiru Sylvanus' family paid N8 million to the kidnappers before she was released on Thursday night defying the warning of the Police not to negotiate or deal directly with the kidnappers.
 

The Commissioner of Police, Adisa Bolanta, said, "They defied our warnings and continued negotiations with the kidnappers. They went behind us and paid N8 million to them. We have made some arrests in connection with the case and very soon they will all be apprehended."
