FATHER KEEPS DEAD SON'S BODY IN FREEZER FOR SIX YEARS

A devastated father, Tian Xueming, from China, has kept his 18-year-old son's dead body in a chest freezer for the last six years because it makes him feel he has never left and he can't bear to be parted from his dead son.

The 18 year-old boy,  Qinyuan, died of leukemia six years ago. The father has refused all requests to move son Qinyuan's body to a family tomb. He said, 'when my wife and I want to talk to him we can just pull up some chairs, lift the lid and chat to him as if he had never been taken from us.' He said Qinyuan was the only thing keeping them going after the death of their first child, a girl who died when she was 15.

The 54-year-old carpenter set up a series of back-up electricity generators to keep the freezer running during the district's frequent power cuts.

WHO HAS THE EASIER LIFE?

I stumbled upon this debate recently and it seems women believe that men have easier life than women because they don't have to stand as much pain as women do. I totally agree. With the stress of carrying a pregnancy to term, including the nausea and sickness and risks that comes with it to the pain during labor. Also not forgetting the monthly pain, the stress of dealing with everyday problems in  the home, (while the men come back from work and sit in font of the t.v, eat warm dinner and go to bedt), men don't have to endure the pain of making their hair, or make up or.... I can go on and on and on.

There is nothing men do that women don't do, and even more.

Sorry jare, let me allow you guys speak your mind too. Do you believe men have it easier in life than women. Oya, over to the men, defend yourselves.

EKSU SHUT DOWN AS STUDENTS PROTEST DEATH OF FINAL YEAR STUDENT

The Ekiti State University has been shut down indefinitely on Friday, over violent protests by the students reacting to the death of a final year student of the Accountancy Department, Abiola Teslim Yusuf, who was knocked down by a vehicle. The students went on  rampage setting ablaze six vehicles including an ambulance belonging to the institution, a bus, and a security van parked in front of the administrative block and damaging about 15 other vehicles during the violent protest which forced other students as well as members of staff to vacate the campus.

Some of the students said that Yusuf and some other students had asked the driver of the vehicle, who had come to drop his friend, for money but he refused and tried to speed away but knocked the student down in the process. The deceased student was said to be a leader of a cult group on the campus and members of his cult were said to have mobilised other cultists and unleashed terror on the campus.

The accident happened on Wednesday and the student was taken to a hospital in Ikere for treatment. He was later transferred to an intensive care unit at Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital but the hospital could not handle the case because he sustained serious head injury and needed to be operated upon but there was no neurosurgeon to attend to him. He was referred to  the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) but he died in Ibadan while being taken to LUTH on Friday.

Armed policemen were seen at the entrance of the university on Saturday while an armour personnel carrier was also seen patrolling the campus.
