A middle-aged man, identified as Olamide, was killed while trying to cross the very busy Ikorodu expressway in Ojota, Lagos on Tuesday. He was crushed to death by a
speeding Danfo bus driver who was fleeing from LASTMA officials.
According to a sympathizer, the deceased who died instantly had just arrived Lagos from Ibadan with his wife. The
couple had shunned the pedestrian bridge and had attempted crossing the
road when he got hit by the bus. The wife of the deceased thought
her husband was by her side, but upon hearing the big thud, she
looked back and saw him lying on the road with blood gushing out of his
broken head. She was inconsolable as sympathizers attempted to console her as seen in the pic above.
The bus driver fled the scene of the accident. Pls, let us endeavor to use the pedestrian bridges, they are there to save lives.
