AMBER ROSE IS PREGNANT

Amber Rose is definitely pregnant. She was photographed rocking her baby bump while running errands yesterday. She is expecting her first child with fiance, Wiz Khalifa
Wiz said during a radio interview last month that they were not having a baby right now, but it seems either he didn't know....or he was keeping it quiet during that ever important first trimester.  Either way--the news is out now!
Congrats to them.

KIM K SETTLES LAW SUIT WITH OLD NAVY OVER LOOKALIKE MODEL

Kim Kardashian has settled her law suit with Old Navy claiming the clothing retailer violated her publicity rights by using a lookalike, Canadian singer-model Melissa Molinaro, in an ad. In the suit filed in July 2011, she claimed the company’s use of a model who looked like her might confuse consumers about her actual endorsements, which include a clothing store and shoe line. No details about the settlement were filed with the court.

An attorney for Old Navy said at a January hearing that Molinaro was famous in her own right and her appearance in the ad wasn’t intended to draw similarities to the reality TV starlet.

Kardashian, 31, was seeking unspecified damages and an order barring Old Navy from using a lookalike model again.

“The lawsuit was resolved to the mutual satisfaction of the parties,” the two sides said in a joint statement.

Hmm, they look alike but it's easy to tell them apart. Kim yi sha.

STYLE CORNER: BIB NECKLACES AND JEWELED COLAR IN VOGUE

Ladies, bedazzled bibs and jeweled collars are the kind of statement- making style that will dress up your fall wardrobe in one easy step.
From leather and lace to pearls, sequins and loads of metallic options, this season’s must-have accessory pairs perfectly with T-shirts, dresses and sweaters.

While the structured collar adds playful flair to an outfit, a glamorous bib necklace can instantly add a feminine twist. Rough-and-tumble leather and crystal and chain combos work as a nice contrast to toughen up ladylike blouses and delicate fabrics.

For a night out or down with a white T-shirt, jeans and favorite pair of heels, these necklaces are one of fall’s easiest and biggest trends.

JOKE OF THE DAY

Blonde paint job

A blonde, wanting to earn some money, decided to hire herself out as a handyman-type and started canvassing a wealthy neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house and asked the owner if he had any jobs for her to do.

"Well, you can paint my porch. How much will you charge?"
The blonde said, "How about 50 dollars?" The man agreed and told her that the paint and ladders that she might need were in the garage. The man's wife, inside the house, heard the conversation and said to her husband, "Does she realize that the porch goes all the way around the house?"
The man replied, "She should. She was standing on the porch."

A short time later, the blonde came to the door to collect her money.
"You're finished already?" he asked. "Yes," the blonde answered, "and I had paint left over, so I gave it two coats. "Impressed, the man reached in his pocket for the $50. "And by the way," the blonde added, "that's not a Porch, it's a Ferrari."

Oh dear! Let me ask you guys, if you were that guy what will you do?

EZEKWESILI: $400BN OIL REVENUE MISAPPROPRIATED

Can you guys beleive that over $400billion of the nation’s oil revenue has either been stolen or misappropriated since Nigeria gained independence in 1960. Not Naira ooo, Dollars, as in US Dollars.

This was disclosed by the former Vice President for Africa of the World Bank, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili, while presenting a paper titled: ‘Corruption, National Development, The Bar and The Judiciary’, at the ongoing 52nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Abuja.

She stated that,  "while oil accounted for about 90 per cent of the value of Nigeria’s exports, over 80 per cent of that money ended up in the hands of one per cent of the population. Poor governance of public resources and assets in Nigeria, she added, is worsening at every level of government, institutions of state, the private sector and is engulfing the wider society."

That one percent I beleive to be politicians, oil marketers and other corrupt leaders of this country o. I am so mad, so so mad.

MAN HIDES COCAIN IN ROASTED CHICKEN

An auto techinician, Vincent Chinweuwa, was arrested by the officials of  National Drud Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, for allegedly hiding 2.655kg of cocaine inside roasted chicken. The arrest was at the inward clearance of passengers on a Turkish Airline flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil on Friday. The street value of the cocaine seized is about N24m
The suspect said it took him three days to wrap the cocain in the chicken and never thought he would be caught.
“It took me three days to pack the cocaine inside the roasted chicken. I was confident that the drug will not be detected. I have been living in Brazil since 2006. Life has been stressful because I cannot even visit my wife in Nigeria due to lack of money. I wanted some money to start any business of my choice back home. Unfortunately, I was disappointed upon arrival in Lagos,” he said.

NDLEA Airport Commander, Hamza Umar, has described the incident as 'remarkable'. “It is a remarkable seizure because no one would have imagined cocaine worth several millions inside roasted chicken,” Hamza stated.

These drug dealers  keep coming up with 'new and improved' ways of smuggling drugs, and NDLEA keep stepping up to their game. That is one agency that works.
