Lance Armstrong has been stripped of his
2000 Olympic Games cycling time trial bronze medal by the International
Olympic Committee, after admitting in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, taped on Monday, that he has been using drugs for years to enhance his performances. The 41-year-old has been denying for years that he was doping.
The International Olympic Committee sent a letter to Armstrong on
Wednesday night asking him to return the medal, just as it said it
planned to do last month. Armstrong has been stripped of his seven Tour de France titles and all results since 1998. What a fall from grace to grass!
