Unidentified gunmen suspected to be Fulani
herdsmen attacked and massacred up to seven members of the
Yakubu Kayit family in Azansak [Madauci] village in Kaduna State. The family members of Yakubu Kayit are
Christians.
This incident occurred at about 11:00pm on yesterday night, November 14, 2012. After killing the entire members of the family, they set
fire to the family house burning the corpses of the murdered victims in
the process.
One of the residents of the village said that unless the people of southern
Kaduna are given a state – and classified as part of North central
region all the incessant killings will not stop. According to an Anglican Reverend resident in the area,the Fulani herdsmen are attacking the Christians in
Kaduna with the aim of chasing them away in order to acquire
their land and landed properties. He also stated that the youths
have already begun preparing themselves for a revenge attack on the
Muslim community. The police confirmed the incident but noted that a 6 year-old daughter in the
family may have survived the attack.
Why do these people believe the only way to achieve what they want is to kill innocent people? It is so selfish and evil. And yes, I'm talking about Hausa muslims who have absolutely no respect for human life. The gory pic after the cut...
