BE THE NEXT MTV BASE VJ, WITH BANKY W AS THE JUDGE

Have you got what it takes to be Nigeria’s next MTV Base Video Jockey? The 2012 MTV Base VJ Search Nigeria competition is still on and you have the opportunity to vie for the coveted spot.

The contest is open to all Nigerians between the ages of 18 and 25. Interested participants should simply send a short video clip explaining why they should be the next MTV Base VJ or go to the 2012 MTV Base VJ Search Nigeria auditions taking place on Saturday 1st December 2012 at Fantasy Land, Lagos

According to a rep for MTV Base, participants will be judged by E.M.E artiste, Banky W, who has already be signed on as one of the judges for the competition and more judges who will be announced later.

The winner who will be revealed in 2013, will follow in the footsteps of veteran MTV Base VJ, Cynthia “C-Von” Okpala, who won the competition in 2007 and subsequently hosted many MTV Base programmes and events.

• Upload a short clip explaining why you should be the next VJ (Maximum File Size of 8 MB) at www.MTVVJSearch.com or simply send it via e-mail to basedigital@vimn.com 
• Audition at the 2012 MTV Base VJ Search at Fantasy Land, 11 Bato Kuku Street, Kings Way Road, Ikoyi, Lagos on Saturday 1st December 2012

• This MTV Base VJ Search is open to Nigerian Citizens only
• Prospective applicants must be 18-25 years, fluent in spoken English and have a valid Nigerian passport
• Prospective applicants must not be associated with another major TV or radio station
