WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO DESMOND ELLIOT'S HAIR?

I know it's for a movie but meeen, it's not flattering at all.  I don't know if this is better than that horrible dreads he had for a long time (below). You be the judge.

    lol, both look ridiculous on him. He looked so good when he had the 'normal' low cut back then.
