WHO SAID CORPORATE WEAR HAS TO BE BORING AND PLAIN?

I know a lot of us are used to the usual white, black, grey, and brown combination, but naa, it's time to bring your style to work! Today, we will be looking at colorful and fun corporate outfits that can really show off your sense of style. Let's gooo there.

What you need to do is to buy some basic investment pieces that have classic cuts and colors for the bottom half of your look (shoes, skirts, pants) and then break out the colors, fabrics, and patterns for the tops. Go all the way with the colors. Corporate color-blocking, haha, me likey!

Guys, will serve you yours tomorrow, muah. Ladies, more after the cut..

However, if you're the bold type (if get liver), go all out with the patterns, take risks with not only colors, but patterns as well. For suits, all you need to do is to get colorful camisoles and shirts, and you can rock the same suit in different ways all week. For inspiration on this, check HERE.

Invest in some cool colorful sweaters/cardigans to wear over your camisole for that laid back but stylish corporate look. Note that if you're wearing patterned top/camisole/shirt, wear a plain colored sweater and vice versa. Your bottom (skirt and trousers) can either be plain or patterned. The plain sweater will even out your look. You can also wear the cardigan/sweater as a complete top over a skirt or trousers.

  1. Don't think any of those combinations can be used by someone who works in a bank.

  2. Madam Blogger, those colours and styles are very unacceptable not only in banks but also in most business organisations...For instance, i do not work in a bank, i work in an I.T Firm n we r only allowed to wear solemn colours like brown, navy blue, black n white.... dont u tink offices will look like dance halls and party n the staff looking 'slutty' if multi colour attires are allowed?

  4. I don't think you're expected to wear colorful outfits everyday. Maybe a pop of color once in a while and if done properly, like some in this post, can actually look great and make you stand out as some one who is stylish.
