According to a report by Chux Ohai for PUNCH, cocaine is sold behind this wooden kiosk on Ilo street, Ikeja. Their correspondent was able to buy cocaine and heroine for just N100! Unbelievable right?
According to the report, most of
the joints where these drugs are sold are located in filthy surroundings in densely parts of Lagos, such as Ikeja, Ogba,
Agege, Mushin and Somolu and most of the people there don't have homes and they stay there all day and night. The only time they leave
is when they need money desperately for another fix. The correspondent even saw a nursing mother at a joint on Akala Street,
Mushin, sitting on a mat quietly sniffing from a
substance in a piece of paper, while her baby yelled for her attention.
