Hehehe, this our government no go kill person with laughter. The Zamfara state Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, Hajia Balkisu Bungudu just announced that they are planning to ‘’arrange husbands’’ for about 2,000 widows in the state. The state government has already registered 1,998 widows
to marry off, adding that the mass wedding would be sponsored by
the government.
This was done in Kano last year May, when the Kano State government- owned Sharia police (Hisbah
Borad), arranged marriages for about 100 out of an estimated 1,000
widows and divorcees
Like seriously? Did the women say they can't find husbands on their own or what? Another way to 'chop' money and provide unnecessary contracts for their family members. Smh.
