Archbishop of Abuja, Archbishop John Olufemi Onaiyekan was consecrated by Catholic Pope Benedict XVI, yesterday, 24th November, 2012, along with 5 other cardinals, in a solemn ceremony
at the St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican City, Rome. Onaiyekan joins fellow Nigerians – Francis Cardinal Arinze and
Anthony Cardinal Okogie – in the Catholic College of Cardinals.
