OSUN SPEAKER'S WIFE RESCUED BY OGUN VIGILANCE GROUP

The  wife of the Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly, Mr. Najeem Salam, who was abducted in Ejigbo, Osun State, last Tuesday by unknown gunmen has regained her freedom. Muibat was rescued yesterday  after about five days in captivity, in Ogunmakin, lagos-Ibadan expressway after security operatives stormed the hideout of the kidnappers.

Two of the kidnappers were killed in a gun battle with the Ogun State vigilance group. They were shot while trying to escape with the victim while three others were arrested and handed over to the State Police Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta.

The kidnappers had earlier demanded N200m for the release of Mrs Salam.

Thank God she's safe now.
