I was at the 'Business side of Fashion' seminar which held at Terrakulture, Victoria Island, today and was privileged to meet my role model, Lisa Folawiyo of jewel By Lisa, a trully amazing woman, and a number of top Nigerian designers such as Folake Coker of Tiffany Amber, David Eweje of David Wej, Tolulope Akinpeloye of N.A.C.K, Omoyemi Akerele, founder of Lagos Fashion and Design Week (she was yesterday listed in the Business of Fashion’s first ever Global 500 list most influential persons in fashion), Funmi Ayanbadejo, CEO Patrick Ayanski, and a host of other top players in the fashion industry.

Yes guys, I am training to be a fashion designer and that's what has been keeping me away from regular blogging. I'm presently studying fashion designing in one of the best fashion schools in Nigeria and I'm currently working on my project and would have more time once I am done. This is my dream, to be one of the foremost upcoming  fashion designers in Nigeria. Watch out for me guys! See a pic of myself and Tolulope Akinpeloye below...

MISS PHILIPPINES. MEGAN YOUNG, WINS MISS WORLD 2013

Miss Philippines, Megan Young, has been crowned Miss World 2013. The pageant held today, 28th September at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia. The 23-year-old beat 126 other contestants to become the 63rd Miss World.  Miss France Marine Lorphelin was named runner-up, while Miss Ghana Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter (in blue) came third.

HOW DID SHE SURVIVE THIS? CHINESE WOMAN SURVIVES HORRIFIC AUTO ACCIDENT

A Chinese woman miracluolously survived a horrific auto accident in Zhangjiagang in the Jiangsu Province of China when her car was crushed by a giant container. The woman was driving alongside a lorry carrying the huge container when the container suddenly fell off the lorry on her car, flattening the top half of the car. Rescuers and members of the crowd that gathered were astounded to hear a voice from inside the car shouting for help. They were able to cut the car open with tools and pull the woman, who had sustained no serious injuries, to safety.

This is just unbelievable, really.  See how the woman was cut free after the cut…

Annie Idibia was spotted with a baby bump, or at least what appeared to be one, at her hubby's 'Tuface Peace Awards' last Saturday in Abuja. If she's indeed pregnant, this will be Tuface's 7th child and Annie's 2nd with him. Big congrats to them.

MARIE MILLER WINS MISS EARTH NIGERIA 2013

Popular model and video vixen Marie Miller beat 23 other contestants to emerge the 2013 Miss Earth Nigeria queen. The event held on Sunday at the Oriental Hall, Lekki. Marie will represent Nigeria at the Miss Earth   pageant later this year and also went home with a brand new 2013 Toyota Avensis and N3million one year salary. Judges at the pageant include Amber Rose, Boris Kodjoe and Ini Edo.

Few days ago, she posted photos and video of herself taking a bath (see it here), now it's the pic of her crotch! Who does that? Ex prostitutes I guess. According to the gist,  the girls got into a fight after one of them (the naked one) found out that her friend and neighbor (the lady in red) went behind her back to have sex with her sugar daddy and during the fight, referred to her mother as a prostitute. She proceeded to slash the face of the lady with razor blade and those who witnessed it took action by beating and striping her naked. The lady in red is definitely scarred for life.Wonder what would possess a lady to do this to a fellow woman, the witnesses also had no right to take law into their hands by stripping and beating the lady.
