DEAR GOD!! OVER 1,300 PEOPLE, INCLUDING CHILDREN, KILLED BY NERVE GAS IN SYRIA (GRAPHIC PHOTOS)

This is so heartbreaking. Seeing the photos of these many people, especially kids, is like looking death in the face. Graphic images emerged today showing the aftermath of a dawn poison gas attack in the suburbs of Damascus that wiped out 1,300 people as they lay sleeping in their beds.

Syrian activists accuse President Bashar al-Assad's forces of launching the nerve gas attack in what would be by far the worst reported use of poison gas in the two-year-old civil war. Activists said rockets with chemical agents hit the Damascus suburbs of Ain Tarma, Zamalka and Jobar before dawn.

These pictures of dead children are graphic and disturbing and the worst so far to have emerged from the conflict. The plight of innocent people in this war that shows no sign of ending, is alarming. More pics after the cut...

B2K MEMBER, RAZ B, IS OFF LIFE SUPPORT, DOING BETTER

Ex-B2K singer Raz-B has made a recovery after being on life support following a nightclub attack in China. He came out of his life-threatening coma on Sunday, and is stable, breathing on his own, smiling and responsive. He is yet to be released from hospital, where he will stay for a few more days for observation. A representative of the star revealed doctors say it's a miracle that he survived.

The 28-year-old was smashed across the face with a glass bottle while he stepped in to break up a fight which erupted in the crowd where he was performing at a venue in China on Thursday evening. He later underwent minor surgery to patch up a large cut he sustained on his lip, but the following day, the rapper failed to wake up and one of his back-up dancers rushed him to hospital. Thank God he's ok now.

YVONNE NELSON FEATURES AKON AND DJIMON HONSOU IN HER NEW MOVIE

Yvonne Nelson has gone Hollywood. The very hardworking Ghanian actress shared these photos from the set of her new movie "One Night in Vegas" which features, Akon and Kimora Lee's ex, actor Djimon Honsou as well as Spartacus actress, Viva Bianca. But bia, the title of the movie is "One night in Vegas" but all I see in the background is a village setting, hehe. And Yvonne looks alarmingly skinny... might be the role she's playing though. Oscar Pistorius' trial for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp will commence on the 3rd of March 2014. At a hearing yexsterday in Pretoria, prosecutors accused him of shooting Ms Steenkamp to death on Valentine's night, but he claimed he opened fire on her after mistaking her for an intruder.
Pistorius stood silently in the dock, wiping away tears from his eyes as he was formally indicted for premeditated murder. The judge set his trial to run from 3rd of March to 20th of March, 2014 at North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria.

Premeditated murder comes with a mandatory sentence of life behind bars. Ms Steenkamp if alive would have turned 30 yesterday, August 19th.
