N50M DELTA STATE FRAUD: RMD ON THE RUN

According to saharareporters.com, Richard Mofe Damijo, who is the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Delta State, is on the run for embezzling N50 million from the state Ministry. They first made this report late last year (read it HERE) and now it seems the matter is escalating as arrests have been made regarding this issue. Read their report below;

'Philo Nkem Ajufo, the acting General Manager of Delta State Tourism Board, has been detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja over her role in a financial scheme. Ms. Ajufo is reportedly being quizzed for conniving with her boss, Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD), to embezzle N50 million from the state Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Mr. Mofe Damijo, a well known Nollywood star, is the commissioner in charge of the ministry. Our EFCC said the commissioner was also being sought by the anti-corruption agency, but he has been elusive.

PASTOR ARRESTED WITH FRESH HUMAN PARTS (VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED)

 The suspect, Kunle Olaide, was arrested with several fresh human parts which included five fingers, a human heart, liver, kidney and intestines, all concealed in some plastics filled with water. The plastics were tied inside separate polythene bags and kept in the bag.

Apparently to avoid suspicion, the suspects added soup ingredients such as salt,tomatoes and two pairs of bathroom slippers in a separate nylon bag which they placed on top of the human parts.

ICE PRINCE ENDS RELATIONSHIP WITH YVONNE NWOSU, NOW DATING IYANA'S EX, YVONNE NELSON

After dating Nigerian designer, Yvonne Nwosu for some months, rapper Ice Prince has ended his relationship with her and is now dating Iyanya's former flame as well as his own ex, Ghannian actress, Yvonne Nelson. Get this, Ice Prince dated Yvonne Nelson before she dumped him for Iyanya, who later dumped her for Tonto Dike. Yeah, it's a tangled web. 

Ice Prince and Yvonne Neslon reportedly rekindled their love recently on the set of Nelson's movie which Ice Prince also featured in. They were spotted together at celebrity stylist, Nancy's biorthday bash in Lekki on Saturday, 16th February, where they were aid to have arrived together and couldn't keep their hands off each other. They later left the party together. Guess this is why Yvonne Nwosu, who announce her single status on Twitter dumped his ass.

DR. SID'S FATHER, ACTOR JUSTSU ESIRI IS DEAD

Another sad news today. Veteran Nollywood actor Justus Esiri, who is also the father of Mavin artiste, Dr. Sid, has passed on. His death was announced via Twitter by his son Dr. Sid this morning where he changed his bio to 'RIP Dad'. The cause of his death is still unknown. The late actor, who was in his 70's was a Member of the Order of Niger (MON) and was one of the best actors in Nollywood. RIP sir.

OSCAR PISTORIUOS AND THE POLICE'S ACCOUNT OFWHAT HAPPENED THE DAY HE SHOT HIS GF DEAD

In a statement by Oscar Pistorious in court today, he said he had been on the balcony of his house when he heard noises from the bathroom Believing Reeva Steenkamp was asleep, he grabbed his handgun and shouted a warning before firing four shots through the door, magistrate Desmond Nair was told. He claimed it was then he realised Steenkamp was not in bed. 'I kicked the door open,' he said. 'She was alive. I tried to help her but she died in my arms.' 

But the police and the prosecutors painted a a picture of a premeditated murder, saying that Steenkamp was shot when she took refuge in the bathroom after the couple had been arguing ( see the illustrations above);

'The applicant armed himself, attached his prosthesis, walked seven metres to the bathroom and shot the deceased while she was in the toilet.  'He shot four times...There's no possible explanation to support his report that he thought it was a burglar,' he said. 'If I arm myself, walk a distance and murder a person, that is premeditated,' he said. 'The door is closed. There is no doubt. I walk seven metres and I kill.'
