During a speech on March 28th at the opening of the country’s parliament, President Jammeh said:

"Homosexuality is anti-humanity. I have never seen homosexual chicken, or turkey. If you are convicted of homosexuality in this country, there will be no mercy for offenders. Homosexuality is anti-god, anti-human, and anti-civilization. Homosexuals are not welcome in the Gambia. If we catch you, you will regret why you are born. I have buffalos from South Africa and Brazil and they never date each other. We are ready to eat grass but we will not compromise on this. Allowing homosexuality means allowing satanic rights. We will not allow gays here."

First of all, I want to say that what we like to call“Bad Belle People” because they think there may be bad news and when you don’t give them that news they start to create it because I guess bad news sells more than good news. So I want to say categorically that there was no twitter fight. People go on-line and use Photoshop to create my profile and say that I said this and then they go and create Wizkid’s profile and say he said this.

FG SCRAPS NECO, UTME, OTHERS

Based on the recommendations of the Presidential Committee on the Rationalization and Restructuring of Federal Government Parastatals last night, the Federal Government may have resolved to scrap some agencies such as the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UMTE), National Examination Council (NECO), Public Complaints Commission, National Poverty Eradication Programme (NAPEP) and the Fiscal Mobilization and Allocation Commission among others.

 With the scrapping of the UTME, individual universities in the country would conduct their own admission examinations and admit students while the Joint Matriculation and Examination Board will set and ensure compliance to standards as it acts as the clearing house.

The committee had recommended the abolition of 38 agencies, the merger of 52 and the reversion of 14 to departments in the ministries because they believe it would save the government more than N862 billion between 2012 and 2015.

KHLOE KARDASHIAN'S HUBBY, LAMAR ODOM, ACCUSED OF OPERATING A FRAUDULENT $2.2M CANCER CHARITY

The cancer charity organisation, Cathy's Kids, set up by Khloe kardashian's husband, Lamar Odom, was on Monday, accused by ESPN of failing to give considerable money raised to children in need. The gist is that Khloe and Lamar had been selling everything from pre-owned clothes, including sports bras of Khloe's, as well as sunglasses and other accessories on e-bay and they stated that a portion of the proceeds will benefit Cathy's Kids which was founded by Lamar in 2004.

According to MediaTakeOut.com, Kanye and Kim have split. Here is how they are reporting it;

Actress Stephnora Okereke and Jim Iyke dated for a while many years back and according to an interview she granted Stella Dimoko Korkus in this week’s Encomium magazine, she’s still in love with Jim. Excerpts from the interview:

 “I’ve been maintaining a low profile because of the fact that I wanted to re-arrange myself for the future having made one or two mistakes in the past.

“What mistakes are you referring to?

As an actress or your personal life?” Stephnora: “Both. First as an actress, I allowed myself to put on weight and that is not good for the kind of profession I’m in. When I gained weight, I lost a lot of offer for movie roles. My personal life mistake concerns my involvement in a marriage process that never scaled through. I got involved with someone with someone who doesn’t understand what the word love means. It took me being involved in that relationship to realise what true love really means. It made me realise that I had loved and still do love someone else.”
