DOES IT REALLY MATTER WHAT YOUR FRIENDS THINK OF YOUR MAN?

When it comes to dating and choosing a mate, it’s only natural to want the approval of those closest to you. You know how it goes: You’re dating a great guy (or so you think) and you want to introduce him to your friends and family to get their take on the new person in your life. You hope they like him because you’ve already managed to fall for him. But what happens if, when that monumental moment happens, they hate him? Do you dump him or do you keep dating him because they obviously don’t see what you see? It can be a difficult choice, which brings me to this question: How many of you care what other people think – friends or family, or society in general – about the person you date/love? How much influence do others have on who you date, love or marry? - See more at: http://madamenoire.com/279470/what-about-your-friends-do-you-care-too-much-what-people-think-of-your-man/#sthash.vt2nnbf6.dpuf

You know how it is, you think you’re dating a great guy and you want to introduce him to your friends and family to get their take on the new person in your life, silently praying and hoping they like him because you’re already falling for him.

So, let me ask, what happens if they don’t approve of him? Do you dump him or do you keep dating him because they obviously don’t see what you see? It brings me to ask, do you or should you care what other people think about the person you’re dating? Ladies... and gents too... pls share your thoughts.

IF I EVER WANTED TO GET MARRIED IN A SHORT DRESS, IT WILL BE ONE OF THESE

So, here I was wondering why Naija brides never get married in a short wedding dress (your truly included). Short wedding dresses are usually perfect for an outdoor wedding on a beach, or in a garden. Wish Annie Idibia had gone for a sexy, playful short wedding dress; she wedded award-winning singer, tuface Idibia on a beach in Dubai. Guess we all just don't have the 'liver'.

If you, however, come across a Nigerian bride wearing a short wedding dress (in Nigeria, not abroad), pls do send me pics.
I would love to renew my vows with my dearest husband in this. It's absolutely sexy!!!
This Justin Alexander's strapless alencon sweetheart, silk dupion pleated cummerbund accented with silk flower and feather, circular cut lace tea length skirt, is D-VINE! It screams C-L-A-S-S!

Pls continue...

Y! MAGAZINE NAMES OMOWUNMI AKINIFESI AS THE WORLD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN

Omowunmi Akinnifesi was Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2005. I remember we used to take lectures together in UNILAG and then she went for the beauty contest and won and had to defer her admission for a year. She now has a Master’s degree from King's College, London, sponsored by the Lagos State government. She's currently working on policy for the Lagos government.

I totally agree with Y! Magazine, she's stunning! Another pic after the cut...

STYLE CRUSH: VICTORIA BECKHAM

There's just something so put together... so posh about the former spice girl's member turned fashion designer that I can't seem to place a finger on. Her style is so effortlessly chic, doesn't look like she's trying too hard. Whether she's on the red carpet or running errands, she's always looking so classy and elegant.
There's no better model for her fashion line as she's constantly seen wearing her own designs. I love how she wore the a-line skirt from her Spring 2013 collection with a nude top and laser-cut white clutch, also from her Spring 2013 collection, and ChloƩ wedges, in the last pic.
The designer, who usually tends to stick to a fairly neutral colour palette, was seen at the LAX on Sunday donning this ‘Garden of Earthly Delights’, Carven Fall 2012 skirt, also with the same ChloĆ© wedges. Absolutely gorg!
Victoria makes casual look like the new dress-up. So effortless and so chic!

U.S PUTS $7M DOLLAR BOUNTY ON BOKO HARAM LEADER, ABUBAKAR SHEKAU

Abubakar Shekau
The United States  has decided to help us (Nigeria) end terrorism by offering a  $7m (N1.1bn) reward to persons with information on the whereabouts of the  leader of militant islamist sect, Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau.

The  $7m  is part of the $23m   posted on Monday  by the US State Department’s Rewards for Justice programme in rewards to help track down four other leaders of militant groups such as Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb spreading terror in West Africa. there are indications that there has been growing links between AQIM and Nigeria’s Boko Haram. According to a senior  US State Department official, 'they’ve had a relationship for some time. They send people back and forth for training, they’ve done the provision of arms back and forth.'

This man's face as well as some other top Boko haram members have been out there for a long time and our government couldn't find him and bring him to justice? We had to wait for America to save our a***. Well, we are not too proud to welcome their assistance, in fact we jump at it.
