FANI KAYODE ATTACKS AVIATION MINISTER FOR SAYING AIR CRASHES ARE GOD'S WILL

Only in Nigeria can the Aviation Minister make such careless statements. Does that mean there is no God in countries that record almost zero aviation casualties? The fact that she is even saying these crashes are the act of God is very offensive and irresponsible of her, when there's no doubt that the planes that crashed were faulty and were not fit to fly and should have been detected by her office. Above is Fani Kayode's response to Aviation Minister, Stella Oduah's speech regarding the recent withdrawal of Dana Airlines' operating license. See the press statement after the cut..

“We do not pray for accidents but they are inevitable. But we will continue to do everything to ensure that we do not have accidents. But an accident is an act of God.

“Again, we do not speculate on the cause of accidents. Until they happen, you cannot say this is the cause or that is not the cause. But what is obvious and is the truth is that, in aviation, there are shared responsibilities, starting from the man that carries your luggage to the man that makes sure that your boarding pass is issued to you".
