Aevin Dugas has the world's largest Afro, at 4ft 4ins long, her hair has entered the Guinness Book of Records. Aevin started growing her natural 14 years ago after being inspired by a photo of her mum in Afro in the sixties.
The
37-year-old says it can take two days to wash and dry and is so big she
struggles to see clearly out from beneath it. When washing, she shampoos it and then uses up to five conditioners and then puts her hair into two French braids and from then it takes about two days to dry. She says her biggest joy is inspiring young girls to stop using chemical straighteners, which can cause long-lasting damage to hair. You inspire me too!! More pics after the cut...
Please she should always bond her hair; d afro is scary. Anyway, she's able to manage it cos her hair has good texture. As for my hair, na no go area cos it's as hard as olumo rock.

Lol @ your comment. She's very lucky, I doubt if my natural hair can grow this long and with that texture. But I guess I'll never know until I give it a try. I'm so jealous of her. But she looks better with her hair away from her face.
