WAYS TO ROCK A PEPLUM SKIRT

A peplum is a short overskirt or ruffle attached at the waistline of a jacket, blouse, or dress. It is so elegant yet fun and playful. Peplum was a popular 1940s and 1980s highly fashionable style. It accentuates the curves of a woman, making her waist appear thinner and her hips, wider. One thing I particularly love about peplum is, it cuts across all shapes and sizes. Their are different variations and style, you can find it in a skirt, dress, trousers, jackets etc.

Today, I'll just show you what you can wear with a peplum skirt.
This is one of my favorite ways of rocking a Peplum skirt - with a tank top, super simple, yet super sexy!

Continue after the cut...

Peplum skirt looks great with a Tee or a top. If you have a white Tee or any color, with round or V-neck line, throw it on with your peplum skirt for a super chic look.
Bustier
For a more formal look, wear a long-sleeve shirt or top with your Peplum skirt. Great for the office or a day with a slight chill in the air.

Wearing a Peplum skirt with a crop top: you can only pull this off if, and only if, you have a very flat tummy. Not really one of my fav, well, that's 'cos I don't have a wash-board abs. *coversface*
This gold peplum sequin skirt works wonders with the black lace bustier. If you have a bustier and don't know what to do with it, there you have it.

I love how the peplum skirt and the top have the same hue but different texture. Below are some other looks that I love;
