  1. D'banj's market is in Afriica, when is he going to realise that? He doesn't have the kind of talent that Americans are used to. Bros, come back home.

  2. He has no musical talent but can entertain the African market because we really don't seem to care or enjoy talent as much as being entertained, but Americans? No compromise, you must be talented.

  3. I don't agree with Anonymous @ 19:19.
With the right beat and good packaging, your music can appeal to any country. To me the music is just there. Nothing spectacular about it. Even Kanye's bit was ok to me. Not tight, just ok. I feel they aren't giving Dbanj the kinda focus and attention they shld give a star. Look at Akon's treatment of Psquare. The difference is so clear. Akon is a good business man and obviously a good boss cos of the kind of exposure and collaborations he organizes for those under his label. Dbanj should either go get signed under Akon's label or look for someone who will sell him well. If not, he'll just slip into musical oblivion. The fact that "Kanye" signs you doesn't mean jack if his label don't sell you well.
