JIM IYKE'S STATEMENT ABOUT ALLEGED 11 YEAR OLD SON

Some days ago, I wrote about Stella Dimoko Korkus report that Jim Iyke recently found out that he has an 11 year old son with an ex girlfriend who relocated to the UK many years ago. (If you missed it, read it HERE). The actor has released a statement through his media manager addressing the issue. Read it below;

“Jim Iyke is aware of the viral story currently making the headlines and wishes to state that this is not the first time that issues of this nature have arisen. Friends and fans who follow his activities closely will recall a number of occasions in the past when baseless claims of paternity and even marriage were made. Nonetheless, as a responsible man, he is always disposed to verify any such development(s) brought to his attention and when any satisfactory outcome has been ascertained, the general public will be duly informed without ambiguity. The only specifics at the present time is that at the age of 22yrs-23yrs old he dated for a brief period the lady at the center of the story who subsequently left Nigeria for the UK. “There had been no contact between them ever since and by implication no inkling of the existence of a living product of that encounter. Since this is more about an innocent child than the star himself we advise caution and respect for privacy. Mitch Ngaman, Media Manager.”

"Since this is more about an innocent child than the star himself we advise caution and respect for privacy." Okay, that sounds like a confirmation to me, you nko?

BOKO HARAM COMMANDER IS MY NEPHEW- SENATOR

Senator Ahmed Zanna
The Joint Task Force, JTF, on Thursday announced the arrest of a high profile Boko Haram Commander Shuaib Mohammed Bama in Maiduguri,  who has been on the list of wanted terrorists operating between Bama and Maiduguri.

The SSS later linked Mr Bama to the house of senator Ahmed Zannaa in  Maiduguri. The Senator, representing Borno Central Senatorial district, has denied the allegation that the Boko Haram member was arrested in his house saying he only got of a text on Sunday that the SSS DG will want to see him on Monday (today). “What I am suspecting is that they want to frame me up.” he said.

He denied any link to the Boko Haram sect, saying although the suspect is his nephew,  his sister’s son, who he had long kept at arm’s length, was not arrested in his apartment but in a house belonging to a former Governor of Borno State, who is currently a Senator, Ali Modu Sheriff.

God will expose all this evil men using the lives of innocent men, women and children as pawn in their power game. Continue to read more

FAAN NAME DANA THE BEST DOMESTIC AIRLINE IN NIGERIA

Despite the air crash that claimed the lives of 163 people four months ago, the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) over the weekend named Dana Air as the best domestic carrier for 2011 in Nigeria.  According to FAAN’s Regional General Manager, Mr. Chris Bature the airline was awarded the prize for its good customer relations and prompt payment of dues. Bature stated that the airline was selected because of its outstanding performance and punctuality while Lufthansa Airlines was also selected as the best international carrier for the same period.

Outstanding performance? Really? Neglecting complains from staff and customers about a faulty plane and eventually killing over 160 people is an outstanding performance? Only in Nigeria where money means more than human lives!

QOUTE OF THE DAY: LIYEL IMOKE

The governor of  Cross River State, Liyel Imoke, in a speech during the dinner held by the state for the Super Eagles after their victory over Liberia  puts women in the category of 'delicacies' to be enjoyed by men;
“I had my initial fear for the players the moment the Nigerian Football Federation picked Calabar as venue for the Super Eagles matches. As you are aware, Calabar is home for good food as pounded yam, edikang ikon and afang soup. We also have the best of tourism sites in the country and above all, Calabar is well-known for its beautiful women. My biggest fear initially was that the players might not do well on the pitch after enjoying all those special ‘delicacies.’
