PRESIDENT JONATHAN'S HOME SUBMERGED IN FLOOD

President Goodluck Jonathan's home in Otuoke community, Bayelsa has been affected by the flood which has covered over half of the State and displaced over 50,000 people in the north and the middle belt. The kinsmen to the president came to the rescue of the first family and salvaged some of their properties.
 
Victims of this flood have been subjected to untold hardship, with many deaths recorded, rape and suicide cases,  people missing as well as women being forced to give birth in the flood.
 
Assessing the level of damage during his visit to the affected areas, the Bayelsa State governor through his deputy, Rear Admiral Gborubiogha John Jonah (rtd), said the governor has directed the evacuation of the affected area to one of the relief camps located in the community.

  1. Pregnant women forced to deliver in the flood?? Wat a painful ordeal for the less privileged. When will things change for better in this country
