TIMAYA DENIES RECONCILING WITH EX, EMPRESS NJAMAH

There were rumors that Timaya and his former flame,  actress Empress Njamah had made up after they were seen whispering to each other and laughing together an Tuface Idibia's 37th birthday party held recently in Lagos.

The afro-pop singer has denied the rumors. The former lovers went through a very public fight which led to separation in 2009. When contacted, Timaya said, “It is true that Empress and I met at Tuface’s party and greeted each other as old friends, nothing more. This whole speculation about reconciliation is spurious and baseless. I am happy with my partner, daughter and career and I am sure she is with her new life too.” 

He said in an interview in May, 2012, that as much as he loves and cherishes his baby and the mother, Barbara, he is not thinking of getting married to her or any other woman yet.
