LONDON NEWSPAPER NAME IBORI'S WIFE AS OWING THE U.K GOVERNMENT £5M

The London Evening Standard newspaper reports that Theresa,  the wife of former governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori,who is one of the “major debtors,” still owes about £5m of a court fine imposed for her role in a £50m fraud committed by her husband. The newspaper reports that despite owning a home in Hampstead, UK she missed the deadline for repayment that ran out in May.

Her husband,Ibori had earlier been convicted and fined in the UK for fraud-related offenses, and is currently serving a 13-year jail term in a UK prison for charges of fraud to the tune of $250m.
