FATHER OF 10 KIDNAPS AND KILLS NEIGHBOUR'S SON

The State Security Service has arrested a father of 10, Saturday Dewakei, who allegedly kidnapped Abubakar Adamu, the five-year-old son of his neighbour and killed him when his demand for a N5m ransom was not met.

Dewakei, 43, was said to have entered his neighbour’s room at Aso ‘C’ Gbagalape, Mararaba area of Abuja through the ceiling on April 19, 2013 and abducted Adamu while he was asleep. The SSS tendered the remains of the victim on Wednesday, which were mainly bones, including his ribs, femur, dental cavity and a locally-made pistol that was recovered from the suspect.

MONALISA CHINDA AND LANRE NZERIBE'S MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE - EX STAFF OF THE FORMER COUPLE

Actress Monalisa Chinda and her ex, Lanre Nzeribe were working on a magazine called 'Monalisa' together before they broke up and below is a mail from a disgruntled former staff of theirs, Kelvin Keshi. It was Tuesday August 27 and another lifeless day filled with uncertainties, inconsistencies and a shameful lack of direction at Monalisa, the white elephant magazine misadventure of Lanre Nzeribe and Monalisa Chinda. Lisa had suddenly gone AWOL for close to a month from her ceremonial publisher’s seat, staff were being owed two months’ salary and Lanre was stalling.  He rarely showed up in the office and whenever he did, he barely spoke with anyone before he would zoom off again in his black Maserati.  Outside, he was always conscious to give off a deceptive public image of the hip ‘big boy’ and perfect gentleman to camouflage his real insensitive, aloof and condescending sides.

Victoria Hervey stepped out in this sheer, revealing dress for a number of fashionable soirees on Monday evening.  The black under wear she wore was visible beneath the translucent black material. IS IT OKAY FOR ARIK STOWAWAY BOY, DANIEL OIKHENA, TO GET SCHOLARSHIP FROM THE EDO STATE GOVERNMENT?

Daniel and the the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, George Uriesi with Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole yesterday Wednesday Sept. 11th.

Daniel Oikhena is the 14 year old boy who beat airline and airport security at Benin airport on Saturday August 24th and flew in the tyre hole of a Lagos-bound Arik plane because he thought the plane was headed for the US. Daniel has been given scholarship by the governor of Edo State, Governor Oshiomhole and I don't think it's the right move to make. Not that I don't wish him well, but it doesn't set a good precedent and may encourage others to do the same. Read what the governor said below;

“Without meaning to encourage anyone else, we decided to support him by sending him to one of the top secondary schools in Edo State that is owned by the Government. The reason for opting for a boarding school is that we think that there is need to closely watch him which his parents could not do. He is an intelligent young man with uncommon challenges, but one that has a vision. We had him examined by people who should know and the result confirmed that he is normal"
