JONATHAN READY TO FORGO SECOND TERM IF SENATE PASSES 6-YEAR SINGLE TERM LAW - PRESIDENCY

The Presidency on Wednesday said President Goodluck Jonathan will drop his ambition to run for second term in 2015 only if the Senate passed the president's proposal for a single non-renewable six-year tenure for President and State governors into law. Here's what the President’s Special Adviser on Political Matters, Dr. Ahmed Gulak, said;

“Nigerians will remember that it was President Jonathan that suggested an idea of a single term tenure from the beginning. So if the proposal becomes a law, the credit should go to the President. If it becomes a law and is enshrined in our constitution, the President and everybody will be bound by the provision of that law. Let us wait and see what happens. We are not seeing the move as a way of stopping President Jonathan from re-contesting in 2015. The law cannot be made because of one individual. When it takes effect, everybody will be bound by it.”

 The proposal by the Senate Committee on the Review of the Constitution had recommended non-renewable single six year tenure for the offices of President, Vice-President, governors and their deputies. The Senate panel’s recommendation however, disqualifies Jonathan and incumbent governors from benefitting from the new arrangement if the recommendation becomes law. If passed into law, Jonathan will not be eligible to contest the 2015 presidential election.

OUCH! BILLBOARD MAGAZINE SAYS BEYONCE HAS NO CREATIVE TALENT AS SHE STEALS YET ANOTHER ARTIST'S CREATION

Beyonce really needs to stop this her 'stealing' habit. Billboard Magazine, which usually sing her praise, wrote a particularly scathing piece about Beyonce’s shameless thievery today. Billboard magazine wrote;

"Any artist, including Beyoncé, can wear whatever another artist wore, but that multiplicity gets suspicious and easily pegged as stealing. But more bothersome than Bey’s inspiration-turned-imitation act – and less subtle as her career progresses – is that she’s playing off the risks that other artists have been brave enough to take (and appropriately praised for) instead of challenging herself and taken some herself. Perhaps visual and dance concepts don’t come as naturally to her as vocal prowess, but I’m doubtful that she can recruit those for which it does. Even as a vocal performer, Beyonce is more of a canvas than a creator."

According to inside sources, Rihanna’s tour bus broke down as it crossed the border into Canada early this morning. Rihanna tweeted these images while waiting on the side of the road for a mechanic to arrive. Of course, she doesn’t want her fans to know about her bus mishap, but kini big deal (in Naetoc C's voice) buses break down all the time— even million-dollar custom tour buses.

25-YEAR-OLD MAN CAUGHT RAPING 2-YEAR-OLD COUSIN IN SOMOLU

A 25-year-old man, David Nnebong, was arrested on Monday in Somolu, Lagos, after he allegedly had sex with his two-year-old cousin. On the day the incident occurred, David, who lived with the little girl and her grandmother at 18 Awoseyin Street, Somolu, was left alone with the child after the grandmother went out. When the grandmother, referred to as Iya Wura, returned, the little girl who was crying while greeting her grandmother pointed to her vagina. The grandmother became suspicious and then raised an alarm and all the neighbours pounced on David.

Although upset, Iya Wura and other relatives who were present did not want to get him arrested but only wanted him to leave the house and relocate elsewhere, but neighbours insisted on involving the police. At the time David was taken to Alade Police Division, there was still semen on the child. The mother of the girl was said to be in Calabar. 

How can they not want the police involved? So disappointed in the grandmother and the other relatives. So, the punishment is to send him away to leave elsewhere so he can continue his evil deeds? Relative or not, rape is a criminal act and all those who involve in such evil acts should be made to face the consequences. For raping a girl as little as that, I think he should be castrated. I have a lil' girl and cannot imagine what that girl must have gone through. Me, I go kill person! Relative or no relative, blood go flow.

STANBIC IBTC LAY OFF 250 STAFF, VISA PHONE 60

Yesterday, VisaFone laid off 60 of their staff nationwide and Stanbic IBTC also fired 250 of their staff. The sack take effect from today, May 1st, 2013, which happens to be workers day. The sack by Stanbic IBTC cut across all levels, from management staff to lower staff. The bank still plan to lay off more staff before the end of the year.

The people affected in Stanbic IBTC are full staff employees as the bank intends to make its major workforce 20% permanent and 80% contract staff. This isn't right at all, knowing fully well the alarming state of unemployment in the country and these companies are still laying off staff, not fair at all.

WORST BOTHCED BOOB JOB TURNS WOMAN INTO A 'MONSTER'

Debbie's dream to work in the adult film industry turned into a nightmare when 15 years ago, she had breasts implants to increase her boobs to a chest size five times to a J cup. Unfortunately for her after the surgery, she developed an infection in her right breast, and the surgeon who conducted the operation was nowhere to be found. Seeking medical help, a different doctor agreed to remove the infected implant and skin but only operated on one breast leaving her with one J cup and one smaller boob.

While I'm not against plastic surgery, if one so desires and feels that's the only way to feel good about them self, why didn't she settle for a more reasonable size rather than this 'aragbaye' breast. What does she want to do with all that? *hiss*

DORIS SIMEON AND DANIEL ADEMINOKAN ARE NOT DIVORCED?

Still on this Doris, Daniel and Stella story, according to reports by a blogger, Bunmi Odunowo, Doris and Daniel are not yet divorced. She claims Daniel tricked Doris into releasing their son to him and also presented her with a fake court judgment stating that their marriage has been dissolved (see the document after the cut). Don't know the authenticity of this story but just thought I should bring it to you guys.
