According to reports by Channals TV, Soldiers from One division of the Nigerian Army on Tuesday discovered a bomb making factory at a house located at Sabon Birni Road Kawo in Kaduna North local government area of Kaduna state, following a tip off from some members of the public.

The President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, is dead. His death was announced last night following a two-year battle against cancer. He died at the age of 58 after developing a severe respiratory infection during his battle with cancer.

TWO HEADED BABY BORN IN KATSINA (PHOTO)

A 19-year-old girl gave birth to a baby girl with what appears to be two heads at the General Hospital, Malumfashi, Katsina State. The baby has no eyes and also has a cleft palate and stunted fingers.

The baby’s father, 25-year-old Malam Dahiru Umar, said the baby was their first and his wife attended regular ante-natal care during pregnancy. He said he cried on sighting the baby and sympathetic hospital workers told him that they could not offer any medical assistance beside the delivery.

The mother was in a stable condition and but the baby was referred to Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Shika, near, Zaria. Umar, who is a petty trader, appealed to government, wealthy individuals and non-governmental organisations for support.

RMD DENIES N50M FRAUD ALLEGATIONS

Nollywood actor and current Delta State commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Richard Mofe Damijo,who hosted Iyanya's Album launch on Saturday with Toolz, has responded to the allegations of fraudulent transfer of N50m belonging to the state which the EFCC is supposedly currently investigating. DOCTORS IN THE US CURE BABY BORN WITH HIV!

Wow! This is definitely a major break through in medicine. A Mississippi baby born with HIV more than two years ago appears to have been cured of the virus. The unidentified child was diagnosed with HIV at birth to a mother who did not receive prenatal care or HIV treatment. Hence 30 hours after birth, the baby was started on antiretroviral treatment.

Doctors took the unusual step of prescribing three aggressive drugs (AZT, 3TC, nevirapine) at once after birth for the baby whose initial HIV viral load tests were high.

TWO MISSING KIDS FOUND DEAD IN LAGOS

Ketu area of Lagos State was thrown into confusion after the shocking discovery of the corpses of two toddlers, Toheeb Adedokun and Tajudeen Falilu, who disappeared in January.

PUNCH Metro had reported exclusively on January 30, 2013, that the missing children were suspected to have been kidnapped when all efforts to locate them proved abortive.

In a recent interview, when quizzed about the reason behind the dangerous move to tattoo his eyes, Dance Hall artiste, Alkaline, said;

“All great or memorable things start out as a ridiculous idea generally frown upon by society__ when Kartel bleached his skin and tattooed his body people thought he was a mad man, but look now almost everybody doing it. Everybody has tattoos and bleaching so what is gonna make me any different if I follow that trend, So I started my own I decided to tattoo my eyes, no one has ever done that”
