EUROPEAN BEARD AND MOUSTACHE COMPETITION 2012

The 2012 European Beard and Moustache Championships took place in Wittersdorf, France on Sept. 22, 2012. About a hundred participants were on hand to show off their funky facial hair. Check out the best of the 2012 contestants.

MO FARAH/JESSICA ENNIS NAMED EUROPEAN ATHLETES OF THE YEAR

Britain’s double Olympic champion Mo Farah has been voted the European athlete of the year for the second straight year.  The 29 year-old Somali born runner is the second athlete to win back-to-back, the European athlete of the year awards after Swedish triple jumper Christian Olsson in 2003 and 2004.

 

26 year-old Olympic heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis was also named the women’s European athlete of 2012.

THE FOUR UNIPORT STUDENTS KILLED WERE CULTISTS

I posted earlier that four University Of Port Harcourt students were beaten to death for stealing laptops and phones, well according to a student of the university who lives on the same street where the incident occurred, the boys were cultists sent to rob and kill a student. Also, residents of  Aluu where it happened said there's been lots of robbery attacks, rape, and killings in the area. Read how she reported it..

"Its true they were actually 5 cultists who were sent by someone we don't know of to kill a student. But unfortunately for them, another guy discovered their plot and double crossed them one of them eventually escaped and the other 4 were beaten to death with all sorts of objects. They were sent to collect money from the student and kill him, I don't know what he did to them but thats all I know."

It still doesn't justify this barbaric act called jungle justice.

FOUR UNIPORT STUDENTS BEATEN TO DEATH FOR STEALING LAPTOP, PHONES

Four students of University of Port Harcourt were stripped naked and beaten to death by a mob yesterday for  stealing Laptop and phones from a students Hall of Residence in Aluu Community. Instead of handing the young boys to the police for proper justice to be done, they were killed by an angry mob. 

People please stop jungle justice, it isn't right no matter what. That is why we have the Police and the Court of Law. This is so inhumane. See the ugly sight after the cut..

CYNTHIA OSOKOGU FINALLY LAID TO REST

The  remains of the late Cynthia was finally laid to rest yesterday. Her body conveyed in a Volvo ambulance arrived at her father’s compound at Agbor at 2.55 p.m. Her remains were interred in the compound at 3.55 p.m. after a brief Christian ceremony.

The first attempt to bury the late Cynthia on September 7 was aborted when the police were said to have refused to release her body on grounds that they had not concluded autopsy on it.

But the family went ahead with the funeral mass scheduled for the day, persons who had arrived for the burial attended the mass and later commiserated with the family.

RIP dear.

MIKEL OBI SETS UP RECORD LABEL

The 25 year-old football star has kicked off  his own record label called 'Matured Money Minds' and has signed on four acts including Jason ‘Kido’ Igho, Karen Igho's brother. Karen wrote on Twitter on Thursday, ‘Mikel Obi signed my brother @callme_KIDO to his record label’. Other acts on the newly formed label are Charass, Edgar and Splash.

He set up the label with the help of his younger brother Patrick Obi.

HIV CARRIERS NOT OBLIGATED TO TELL SEX PARTNERS IN CANADA

It is now legal for carriers of the incurable HIV to keep from disclosing their status to their spouses as long as they wear a condom and their HIV levels are low. The ruling was made by the Supreme court of Canada on Friday.

The court ruled 14 years ago that people with HIV must inform their sex partners of their condition, or face a charge of aggravated sexual assault, which carries a maximum life sentence. Not anymore, in a 9-0 ruling on Friday, the Supreme Court reversed this ruling.

This will only help spread the disease faster. The judge who ruled 14 years ago obviously has far more sense than this one. Abeg, if you reside in Canada, zip up your pants!

59-year-old  Professional wrestler, Hulk Hogan, has a sex tape and it was recently leaked. The video shows him having sex with a woman rumoured to be the ex wife of his best friend, a radio DJ named Bubba the Love Sponge. Hulk recently divorced his wife. The video is originally 30minutes long but has been edited to less than two minutes.
