FULL LIST OF PASSENGERS AND CREW ON BOARD THE PLANE THAT CRASHED TODAY + PHOTOS FROM THE CRASH

I'm sure by now you've all heard the sad news. Associated airline plane carrying the body of former governor of Ondo State, Segun Agagu, crashed this morning in the Mafoluku, Lagos, shortly after take off. The aircraft was conveying the remains of former Governor Segun Agagu from Lagos to Akure, the Ondo State capital, when it crashed just 2 minutes after take-off. There were 20 people on board the plane when it crashed and so far, 13 people have been confirmed dead while there are 7 survivors.

According to sources the passengers on the doomed aircraft include Deji Falae, the son of Olu Falaye, a former secretary to the Federal Government of NigeriaOndo State Commissioner of Tourism; the late Agagu’s son-in-law, and an executive of MIC Funeral Company, Femi Akinsanya and  Feyi Agagu, a son of the late former Governor Agagu, was also on board the aircraft, but survived the crash with injuries.

The crashed plane was registered to Associated Airline, owned by former Governor Lucky Igbinedion of Edo State. Below is the full list of passengers and crew aboard the ill-fated aircraft:

SAD! GRAPHIC PHOTO OF STUDENTS KILLED IN YOBE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE ATTACK

I'm sure by now we have all heard about the massacre at the College of Agriculure, Gujba ,Yobe State where Boko Haram attacked students of the school as well as residents yesterday morning. The death toll is now 78 with at least 50 of them being students. Members of the deadly sect stormed the school in the early hours of yesterday morning and attacked the students while they slept in their hostel. Some were shot, others were butchered with swords and knives. The gunmen who stormed the hostels in two double-cabin pickup all-terrain vehicles and on motorcycles, dressed in military uniform., later moved to houses around the hostel, killing residents.
 

They attacked 4 male hostels but didn't go to the female hostels. Inconsolable parents and relatives were at the Sani Abacha Specialist Hospital mortuary in Damaturu this morning to identify their loved ones.This situation seems so hopeless, I think we need international intervention immediately. Yes guys, I am training to be a fashion designer and that's what has been keeping me away from regular blogging. I'm presently studying fashion designing in one of the best fashion schools in Nigeria and I'm currently working on my project and would have more time once I am done. MISS PHILIPPINES. MEGAN YOUNG, WINS MISS WORLD 2013

Miss Philippines, Megan Young, has been crowned Miss World 2013. The pageant held today, 28th September at Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center in Bali, Indonesia. The 23-year-old beat 126 other contestants to become the 63rd Miss World.  Miss France Marine Lorphelin was named runner-up, while Miss Ghana Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter (in blue) came third.

HOW DID SHE SURVIVE THIS? CHINESE WOMAN SURVIVES HORRIFIC AUTO ACCIDENT

A Chinese woman miracluolously survived a horrific auto accident in Zhangjiagang in the Jiangsu Province of China when her car was crushed by a giant container. The woman was driving alongside a lorry carrying the huge container when the container suddenly fell off the lorry on her car, flattening the top half of the car. Rescuers and members of the crowd that gathered were astounded to hear a voice from inside the car shouting for help. They were able to cut the car open with tools and pull the woman, who had sustained no serious injuries, to safety.
