FASHION DESK: MCMEKA PRESENTS ITS FALL/WINTER 2013/2014 COLLECTION

Nigerian fashion design label McMeka is a Lagos based Nigerian menswear design label which solely focuses on bespoke tailoring. The The McMeka Fall/Winter 2013/14 collection was inspired by and named after American hip-hop musician Wiz Khalifah’s video – “Work Hard, Play Hard“, for all ye stylish yet hard-working men, like my man, #blushing#.

The brain behind this brilliant collection is the creative director, Rodney Emeka. The collection includes tuxedos with one row of buttons, plaid trousers, detailed coats and elegant suits; and the color palette varies from classical to neutral shades. KRIS JENNER TALK SHOW CANCELLED

Kris Jenner's talk show  has been axed by FOX after her six-week trial run failed the ratings test and advertisers were less than enthusiastic about it. The momager tried everything in the book, including persuading Kanye West and her daughter, Kim Kardashian to debut their baby on her show, which they did. Guess that still didn't improve the ratings. The show will not be coming back for a second run. According to a source; “It’s a very crowded market and Kris didn’t do anything to set herself apart from the field. Believe it or not, most of America doesn’t want to hear about the Kardashian’s for an hour everyday.” Oops!

HOLLYWOOD POWER, COUPLE CATHERINE ZETA JONES AND MICHEAL DOUGLAS SPILT AFTER 13YEARS

Another of my favorite Hollywood couple have broken my heart again. First, Khloe and Lamar, now Catherine Zeta Jones and Micheal Douglas. After 13 years of marriage and two kids together (pictured with the couple above) , the couple announced their  separation via their rep today;

"Catherine and Michael are taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage. There will be no further comment." Their representative said. Their marriage has had to deal with numerous stresses in the last three years with Michael, 68, being diagnosed with throat cancer in 2010 - which he beat - and Catherine, 43, suffering from bouts of bipolar II disorder, most recently in May this year.

The two men in the pic above, A Bus Driver and his conductor were intercepted by the Police at Allen Ikeja when they decided to strip to resist arrest and protest their bus that was being towed. The situation is getting messier for Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA. Another lady, simply referred to as Franca E, is claiming she too was a victim of Pastor Biodun's affairs with his church members.

According to a statement she sent to Stella Dimokokorkus, a blogger and a writer for Encomium magazine, she was told not have come out to support Ese Walters and her air her own allegations that she had  sexual contact with Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA. Her friends are said to have abandoned her and her family is pressurizing her.
