THE MOST HEARTBREAKING 'OUT OF THE CLOSET' EVER!!!

Wenthworth Miller, my one and only celebrity crush (ok, that's a lie 'cos there are others), is gay! *sobs*. I dreamt of those eyes for months after watching Prison Break. The 41-year-old actor who played the very smart lead character Michael Scofield in Prison Break came out yesterday August 21 via an open letter to the Saint Petersburg Film Festival, rejecting an invitation to attend a premiere there because of Russia's recently-passed anti-gay laws.  He wrote:

Thank you for your kind invitation. As someone who has enjoyed visiting Russia in the past and can also claim a degree of Russian ancestry, it would make me happy to say yes. However, as a gay man, I must decline. I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government. 

The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly. Perhaps, when and if circumstances improve, I'll be free to make a different choice.

DEAR GOD!! OVER 1,300 PEOPLE, INCLUDING CHILDREN, KILLED BY NERVE GAS IN SYRIA (GRAPHIC PHOTOS)

This is so heartbreaking. Seeing the photos of these many people, especially kids, is like looking death in the face. Graphic images emerged today showing the aftermath of a dawn poison gas attack in the suburbs of Damascus that wiped out 1,300 people as they lay sleeping in their beds.

Syrian activists accuse President Bashar al-Assad's forces of launching the nerve gas attack in what would be by far the worst reported use of poison gas in the two-year-old civil war. Activists said rockets with chemical agents hit the Damascus suburbs of Ain Tarma, Zamalka and Jobar before dawn.

These pictures of dead children are graphic and disturbing and the worst so far to have emerged from the conflict. The plight of innocent people in this war that shows no sign of ending, is alarming. More pics after the cut...

B2K MEMBER, RAZ B, IS OFF LIFE SUPPORT, DOING BETTER

Ex-B2K singer Raz-B has made a recovery after being on life support following a nightclub attack in China. He came out of his life-threatening coma on Sunday, and is stable, breathing on his own, smiling and responsive. He is yet to be released from hospital, where he will stay for a few more days for observation. A representative of the star revealed doctors say it's a miracle that he survived.

The 28-year-old was smashed across the face with a glass bottle while he stepped in to break up a fight which erupted in the crowd where he was performing at a venue in China on Thursday evening.  He later underwent minor surgery to patch up a large cut he sustained on his lip, but the following day, the rapper failed to wake up and one of his back-up dancers rushed him to hospital. Thank God he's ok now.
