Kanye West attacked a paparazzi who was asking him questions upon his arrival at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday. The video above shows the attack as recorded by TMZ. According to TMZ, the photographer, who was the same person that Britney Spears attacked with an umbrella in 2007, was taken to a hospital following the assault and told authorities that he wants to press charges against West. Kanye West may face a felony attempted robbery charge from this altercation. Guy, watch your temper men! And paps, quit harassing this young man just because he's famous. I can imagine how frustrating it is to have cameras flashing in your face all the time. The life of a celeb!

MISS BAYELSA, ANNA E. BANNER, IS MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN NIGERIA 2013

I just finished watching the MBGN 2013 and 18-year-old Anna Ebiere Banner has just been crowned the winner of the MBGN 2013. The Governor of the host state, Bayelsa State just bestowed on her the honor of being the Special Assistant on Cultural and Tourism and also made her Bayelsa State Tourism ambassador. Miss Imo, Okwu Stephanie, was 1st runner up while Miss Adamawa, Pomede Lawrence was 2nd runner up. Congrats to Anna! I'm first to report this o, hehe.

ON THE SENATE AND THE SUPPOSED LEGALIZATION OF UNDERAGE MARRIAGE

I know you're all aware of the ongoing media rage over the supposed legalization of female underage marriage in Nigeria by the Senate. I refused to put it up because I wanted to do a little more research than what was being circulated. While surfing the internet for more info on this very sensitive subject, I stumbled upon this article and it seems to disagree with the general public on the issue and it's assumptions.

What I can deduce from this is that the Senate did not legalize underage marriage as is being widely said,  but they passed on the opportunity to amend the existing law on marriage and properly define the age of a female that is eligible to marry. Which ever way, it's still wrong and sad that they couldn't use the opportunity that presented itself while they were debating when and at what age a Nigerian citizen could legitimately and lawfully renounce his or her citizenship, to put a final stamp on the appropriate age a female should get married.

ALEXANDER AMOSU'S '£1.2M' CHAMPAGNE IS ACTUALLY £350!

While reading the comments under the article by Daily Mail Uk today on Liam of One Direction buying the '£1.2m' champagne to celebrate Wizkid's birthday, someone wrote that the wine actually retails for £400 and not the widely acclaimed £1.2m. The maker of the wine, Alexander Amosu has now come out to confirm this, he wrote on his Instagram page; "Wow!!! Seems the media has taking my instagram & changed it to their own. Swarovski diamond edition as stated in my instagram is £350 not £1.2m".

My question is, why is he just coming out to say this? Why did he let the wrong assumption go on for so long?  He knew the info was wrong all along but didn't deem it fit to correct it. If Daily mail hadn't written about the 'supposed' world most expensive champagne, he would have just continued to enjoy the hype.  And by the way Mr 'luxury designer' Amosu, it's taken not 'taking'.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s third novel AMERICANAH has been awarded the 2013 Chicago Tribune Heartland Prize for fiction. The Heartland Prize is a literary prize created in 1988 by the Chicago Tribune Newspaper. Elizabeth Taylor, the literary editor of the Chicago Tribune, said, “We loved AMERICANAH.
