WHAT! FUNKE AKINDELE'S 1 YEAR-OLD MARRIAGE TO KAYODE OLOYEDE IS OVER

Funke Akindele's marriage to hubby, Kayode Oloyede has ended. The two got married May 26th last year. According to sources close to the couple (I actually know someone who is close to her) they have been having issues for a while and Funke was planning to quietly divorce him before Kayode decided to make it public by sharing the news of their split on his Facebook page. He later deleted it though. He wrote:

"It’s with heavy heart that am announcing the separation of me nd ma wife Mrs Olufunke Akindele,we’ve both agreed to go our separate ways coz of irreconcilable differences.we still best of friends nd we 4ever remain gud friends." He later added...

Funke also recently changed her BB name from Mrs Funke Akindele Oloyede to Everybody loves Jenifa.

PRESIDENT OBAMA RELEASES STATEMENT ON ZIMMERMAN'S NOT GUILTY VERDICT

“The death of Trayvon Martin was a tragedy. Not just for his family, or for any one community, but for America. I know this case has elicited strong passions. And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher. But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken. I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son. And as we do, we should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion and understanding in our own communities. We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis. We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this. As citizens, that’s a job for all of us. That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin.”

I have asked severally; what is the point of this show? Nigeria’s rep Beverly and South African rep, Angelo got their freak on last night. They were seen on the bed with Angelo's fingers apparently inside Beverly. Heard other housemates, Pokello and Elikem, were there watching the whole show. SMH. Stopped watching the show a few seasons back. 

As for her stark naked photos, I have them but I can't put them up 'cos I have been warned by Google to stop putting up pornographic photos. But in the photos, she was pictured applying lotion on her body while completely naked. Apparently, just after taking a shower. So, again I ask, what is the moral of the BBA show?

SHOCKER: GLEE STAR, 31-YEAR-OLD CORY MONTEITH, DEAD!

This is really a shocker for me 'cos I watched Glee for a while mostly because my hisband likes to wathc it 'cos of the music and dance which the TV series is popular for, and his character was kinda sweet, confused, but sweet. The 31-year-old Canadian, who played Finn Hudson on Fox's Glee, was found dead yesterday shortly after noon by Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel staff. 

Cory had a substance addiction problem and completed a rehab in April. He was last pictured with his on screen and off-screen girlfriend Lea Michele just last month. The two were rumored to be getting married soon. The news was confirmed by Vancouver Police at a press conference on Saturday night. No cause of death has been confirmed at this point, but there were said to be no implications of foul play. Medical examiners will conduct an autopsy on Monday.

GOERGE ZIMMERMAN FOUND NOT GUILTY IN THE DEATH OF TRAYVON MARTIN

George Zimmerman, 29, has been acquitted of second-degree murder and manslaughter in the shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman, who was a neighbourhood watch volunteer, was charged with second-degree murder for shooting and killing Martin on February 26, 2012. Zimmerman, who was a volunteer neighbourhood watchman, claims he shot Martin in self-defence, and that the teen punched him repeatedly before deciding to use lethal force. The teenager had no weapon on him at the time Zimmerman shot and killed him. 

Meanwhile, it would have been better for him to have gone to jail 'cos judging from the reaction of black folks on Twitter, Zimmerman's troubles and worries are only just beginning. See after the cut...

The Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos on Thursday discharged and acquitted the former Chief Security Officer to the late Gen. Sani Abacha (Al-Mustapha) of the murder of Kudirat Abiola.

Al-Mustapha had initially been convicted and sentenced to death for the assassination of late Kudirat Abiola, wife of the winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election. But the Court of Appeal overturned the conviction of the lower court. According to reports, Al-Mustapha’s first port of call was to Prophet T.B Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN). According to the Prophet, his relationship with Al-Mustapha has come a long way reportedly claiming he had foretold Al-Mustapha’s release which explains his courtesy visit to SCOAN.
