GRAPHIC PHOTO: EX POLICE OFFICER FLEES AFTER BRUTALLY MATCHETTING WIFE

Police in Ondo State are on the trail of an ex-police officer, Tajudeen Adeniyi, over an attempt to kill his wife, Moyosola, by macheting her, inflicting a 10-centimetre deep gash on her head. The 38-year-old suspect took to his heels immediately he inflicted the injury on his wife who has  had four children for him.

FATHER OF DECEASED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIM TELLS ALL BY HER GRAVE SIDE

Yetunde Olotu is the lady who wrote a letter to her violent and abusive husband which she requested to be published after her death (if you missed it, read it HERE). At her burial, her heartbroken father opened up on his daughter, and the man who would eventually contribute to her death. Read Below; 

'It is indeed agonizing to write this story; it is about our beloved daughter Yetunde Omodolapo Olotu Jagha, she had a happy and enviable childhood, committed parents, a dream secondary school, her dream university and graduated a truthful, fulfilled, Christ- loving adult.

Yetunde Omodolapo had just gained an admission into the federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeriafor a master degree program when suddenly she brought Mr.Noble Oritsemeyin Jagha(Oti) for marriage. It was marriage or nothing as they had agreed to suspend that admission for another year which never materialized.

OAU AUTHORITIES EXPLAINS THE CONTROVERSY SURROUNDING UNDERGRADUATE WHO WAS ACCUSED OF TRYING TO FLUSH HER NEW BORN BABY

I know you've most likely read about an undergraduate of OAU who recently gave birth in the toilet and was acussed of trying to flush the baby. Well according to the authorities of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife,  the 400-level engineering student, Miss Oyinlola Rotimi,  did not attempt to flush her newborn baby boy down the toilet at Moremi Hall on Wednesday. A statement by the Head, Public Relations Unit, OAU, Mr Abiodun Olanrewaju, on Thursday, said Rotimi did not attempt to kill her baby, whom he said was rescued from the water closet of the toilet.

Quite a number of Hollywood’s leading ladies have been rocking headbands lately, particularly the Boho, Grecian headband. Khloe Kardashian is famous for her Grecian headbands and I must say, rekindled my love for it. I remember I used to love them growing up. 

If you're thinking of trying this trend out, there are a wide range of headbands to choose from. It comes in various shapes, colors and styles. Some are made of valuable jewels like diamond, gold etc while some are made from less expensive material but still glamorous. You know you can even make one using an attachment. KANYE WEST AND KIM KARDASHIAN FINALLY NAME THEIR BABY

The new parents have finally come to an agreement on what to call their daughter. Kim wanted her to be called Kaidence Donda West, while Kanye wanted North West. The baby daddy won this round as the baby has been named North West, with no middle name. Chai, I feel bad for this little one. I see lots and lots of bullying in her future.

Forget One Direction, this little girl goes 'em one better with two directions. A source close to the couple confirms to E! News that the girl's name is North West, with no middle name. According to a source, "They will call her Nori for short. She has black straight hair! Lots of it! Looks like a good mix of both of them [Kanye and Kim] but more like Kim," says the source. "She's adorable! Kanye is so in love with her. He won't leave her side."

'Nori' for short? North has one syllable while Nori has two. So how is it Nori for short? They should just say they are ashamed of the name North but are sticking with it 'cos it sounds great for a business name or a line of something, clothing or perfume line maybe. AMAZING WORK OF AN ARTIST WHO MAKES PAINTING LOOK LIKE A REAL LIFE PHOTOGRAPH

Oil painter Claire Duguid, 32, from Edinburgh, has created paintings so real, they're unreal. The portraits are so incredibly realistic, they are easily mistaken for photographs. Claire says each portrait can take up to three months to make - painstakingly capturing every tiny detail of the subject's face and appearance.

Claire says she stops just short of hyper-realism to ensure that her work is visually stunning but continues to look like a painting and each piece can sell up to £6,000 (N1,560,000) depending on the client. Miss Duguid said: 'In some respects I am painting every individual hair but I don't call myself a photo-realist painter.

PHOTOS: MAN COMMITS SUICIDE IN ONITSHA

This young man was found in the early hours of yesterday, hanging by a rope in an apparent suicide. He was found along 33 road, after the 33 mini bridge in Onitsha. Some pictures of the deceased and his family and some other personal belongings were found where he took his own life.

People need to realize that every tough situation or condition will pass. It’s never permanent. Even wars come to an end.

AFTER 30 YEARS OF ASKING, 72-YEAR-OLD WOMAN FINALLY AGREES TO MARRY BOYFRIEND

Remember a couple of days ago, I asked you guys how long before a lady walks out of a static relationship? Well, this story proves 2 things; 1. Men too find themselves in static relationships, even if rarely. 2. For some, leaving is not an option.

Retired miner Chris Green, dropped down on one knee in front of his partner Ann Turner, 72, at his 75th birthday party, and she finally said 'I will' to his proposal. The couple has spent 40 years together and he’s been asking her to marry him for the last 30 years and she had turned him down every time. Wait, so they were together 10 years before he even asked? Lol.

Ann will finally stand up beside him and say 'I do' in front of their family and friends at St Matthew's Church, Harlaston, on Friday. An ecstatic Chris said: 'We've been engaged for 30 years or more. I've asked her on countless occasions to be my bride and each time she turned me down. I thought she'd never say the words "I will".'  All I can say is, wow!
