MY MALE STYLE CRUSH HAS GOT TO BE CHUCK BASS

If you're a guy and you don't agree with me on this, you're definitely not a fashionista. Bad boy Chuck Bass, played by Ed Westwick, from 'Gossip Girl' is the guy you'll love to hate but can't help but fall for. His style is so hootttt , it burns; from the scarf to the colours to the layers, perfection! Chuck Bass has got to be the best dressed male character of all time.

Guys, if you wanna be a Chuck Bass, even casual must mean smart to you. Whether you're spending the afternoon at the gentleman's club or just lounging at home, it's essential to look sharp all the time. I mean tailored, well coordinated, and well groomed. You don't know who might be dropping by.

Chuck is not afraid to mix patterns and colors. Notice how he color blocks and 'pattern-block', hehe. Utterly sexxyyy!!!

No guy can wear pink like Chuck Bass, none!!!

Guys, don't come out looking drab after the post o, don't just let me vex. Pls, be inspired. Ladies, not to worry, I'll bring you my Gossip Girl female style crush tomorrow. Can you guess who it is? Trust me, she'll be your style crush too. Continue after the cut pls...

IS BBA THE NEW SODOM AND GOMORRAH? NUDITY GALORE IN THE BBA HOUSE

Pictures have surfaced of BBA 'The Chase' female housemates taking their bath completely nude. Yes I know you're expected to take a bath with your clothes off, but why is Big Brother exposing these ladies' private parts?  Even our own rep, Beverly Osu, was also pictured nude in the shower. I'm wondering if the Big Brother house is the new Sodom and Gomorrah with all the sex, drinking, and romance going on in that house, it's appalling.  Still don't know the essence of the show.

Go HERE and HERE to see some of the photos as I have been warned by Google to desist from posting pornographic images.

BOLLYWOOD ACTRESS FOUND HANGED IN HER HOME

Bollywood actress, Jian Khan, was found dead at her home in Mumbai. Her mother and sister  are said to have gone out and she was alone at the apartment when the incident happened. When they got home, they found Jiah hanged.

Jian had been 'very depressed' about her career and wanted to pursue a career in interior design when her acting career failed to meet its early potential. The 25-year-old actress made her Bollywood debut in 2007, playing the 18-year-old female lead opposite one of India's leading actors, Amitabh Bachchan, in a film based on Vladimir Nabokov's classic novel Lolita. She had told her Director in the movie Nishabd that 'everyone around her makes her feel like a failure.'

She was dating Suraj Pancholi, son of Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi, for around a year and Police are reportedly questioning Suraj as he is said to have been the last person to see her alive. No suicide note was found in her apartment. Such beauty, what a waste.

WHY DO THE ROYALS ALWAYS HAVE TO LOOK SO OFFICIAL?

I'm going to use the duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton the point of reference here. I love the style that comes with being a royal but what I don't get is why those who marry into the royal family have to abandon the sense of style they had before they became a royal. Why do they stick with the stereotype of the 'noble' fashion? You know, the prim and proper 'lady-like' outfits.
Kate's outfits are always stunning but I wish I could see her more often in skinny Jeans, tee and jacket/blazer and sun glasses, or a sexy short gown, or a maxi skirt with a crop top *coversface* She's always looking too churchy. I just wish she would look more... casual... dressed down...funky more often.
I still wish I could raid her closet though, she's got so many great outfits fit for weddings, and her trench coats are to die for!

FIRST BANK TO SHUT OPERATIONS ON THURSDAY, RE-OPENS ON MONDAY

Mr Bisi Onasanya
If you bank with First Bank, you might wanna carry out all your transactions with the bank today 'cos all their branches nationwide will be closed tomorrow and won't re-open until Monday, 10th June. Point of Sale transactions and transaction alerts by Short Message Service will not be possible during the period and, all card services, except Visa prepaid card, will not be available via Quick Teller and the Web Skeletal services would be available on its ATMs throughout the migration period until 5pm on Sunday, and would be restored at 6am on Monday.

The shutdown, according to the bank, is to enable it upgrade its core banking application from Finacle 7 to Finacle 10, (whatever that means) which will ensure easier and faster customer services and experience.

If you're interested, see the Group Managing Director, First Bank, Mr. Bisi Onasanya's open letter to customers after the cut.

Meanwhile, Mr Onasanya reminds me of Eddy Murphy in  the movie Nutty Professor.

PLS, PLS, PLS CAPTION THIS!

This has got to be photoshop!!! Right?!!

BANKER SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR KILLING WIFE

Banker, Mr. Theophilus Ajakaiye, was sentenced to death by hanging by an Abia State High Court for killing his wife, Theodora, also a banker with Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.

The convict allegedly murdered his wife on October 12, 2009 at Azumini Ndoki in the Ukwa Judicial Division of Abia. According to the judge, “Though the accused was not seen killing the deceased, I find that the accumulated circumstantial facts found proved that the accused indeed murdered his wife, Theodora Ajakaiye."

The sentence read, “Theophilus Ajakaiye – The sentence of this court upon you is that you be hanged by the neck until you be dead and may the merciful Lord have mercy on your soul.”

While I am not in support of the capital punishment, I'm glad that domestic violence cases are being treated with all the seriousness they deserve. Also, the couple have two children to together and I think the judge should have settled for a lesser punishment because the children have already lost their mother and is not in their best interest to loose their father also.

DOES IT REALLY MATTER WHAT YOUR FRIENDS THINK OF YOUR MAN?

When it comes to dating and choosing a mate, it’s only natural to want the approval of those closest to you. You know how it goes: You’re dating a great guy (or so you think) and you want to introduce him to your friends and family to get their take on the new person in your life. You hope they like him because you’ve already managed to fall for him. But what happens if, when that monumental moment happens, they hate him? Do you dump him or do you keep dating him because they obviously don’t see what you see? It can be a difficult choice, which brings me to this question: How many of you care what other people think – friends or family, or society in general – about the person you date/love? How much influence do others have on who you date, love or marry? - See more at: http://madamenoire.com/279470/what-about-your-friends-do-you-care-too-much-what-people-think-of-your-man/#sthash.vt2nnbf6.dpuf

You know how it is, you think you’re dating a great guy and you want to introduce him to your friends and family to get their take on the new person in your life, silently praying and hoping they like him because you’re already falling for him.

So, let me ask, what happens if they don’t approve of him? Do you dump him or do you keep dating him because they obviously don’t see what you see? It brings me to ask, do you or should you care what other people think about the person you’re dating? Ladies... and gents too... pls share your thoughts.

IF I EVER WANTED TO GET MARRIED IN A SHORT DRESS, IT WILL BE ONE OF THESE

So, here I was wondering why Naija brides never get married in a short wedding dress (your truly included). Short wedding dresses are usually perfect for an outdoor wedding on a beach, or in a garden. Wish Annie Idibia had gone for a sexy, playful short wedding dress; she wedded award-winning singer, tuface Idibia on a beach in Dubai. Guess we all just don't have the 'liver'.

If you, however, come across a Nigerian bride wearing a short wedding dress (in Nigeria, not abroad), pls do send me pics.
I would love to renew my vows with my dearest husband in this. It's absolutely sexy!!!
This Justin Alexander's strapless alencon sweetheart, silk dupion pleated cummerbund accented with silk flower and feather, circular cut lace tea length skirt, is D-VINE! It screams C-L-A-S-S!

Pls continue...

Y! MAGAZINE NAMES OMOWUNMI AKINIFESI AS THE WORLD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN

Omowunmi Akinnifesi was Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2005. I remember we used to take lectures together in UNILAG and then she went for the beauty contest and won and had to defer her admission for a year. She now has a Master’s degree from King's College, London, sponsored by the Lagos State government. She's currently working on policy for the Lagos government.

I totally agree with Y! Magazine, she's stunning! Another pic after the cut...

AWW, PETER OKOYE DEFENDS BABY MAMA, LOLA OMOTAYO

STYLE CRUSH: VICTORIA BECKHAM

There's just something so put together... so posh about the former spice girl's member turned fashion designer that I can't seem to place a finger on. Her style is so effortlessly chic, doesn't look like she's trying too hard. Whether she's on the red carpet or running errands, she's always looking so classy and elegant.
There's no better model for her fashion line as she's constantly seen wearing her own designs. I love how she wore the a-line skirt from her Spring 2013 collection with a nude top and laser-cut white clutch, also from her Spring 2013 collection, and Chloé wedges, in the last pic.
The designer, who usually tends to stick to a fairly neutral colour palette, was seen at the LAX on Sunday donning this ‘Garden of Earthly Delights’, Carven Fall 2012 skirt, also with the same Chloé wedges. Absolutely gorg!
Victoria makes casual look like the new dress-up. So effortless and so chic!

U.S PUTS $7M DOLLAR BOUNTY ON BOKO HARAM LEADER, ABUBAKAR SHEKAU

Abubakar Shekau
The United States  has decided to help us (Nigeria) end terrorism by offering a  $7m (N1.1bn) reward to persons with information on the whereabouts of the  leader of militant islamist sect, Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau.

The  $7m  is part of the $23m   posted on Monday  by the US State Department’s Rewards for Justice programme in rewards to help track down four other leaders of militant groups such as Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb spreading terror in West Africa. there are indications that there has been growing links between AQIM and Nigeria’s Boko Haram. According to a senior  US State Department official, 'they’ve had a relationship for some time. They send people back and forth for training, they’ve done the provision of arms back and forth.'

This man's face as well as some other top Boko haram members have been out there for a long time and our government couldn't find him and bring him to justice? We had to wait for America to save our a***. Well, we are not too proud to welcome their assistance, in fact we jump at it.

LOLA OMOTAYO OPENS UP ON HER RELATIONSHIP WITH PETER OKOYE AND THE CHALLENGES OF DATING AN ARTISTE

After two kids together, Lola Omotayo, who has been known to keep a low profile since she started Psquare's Peter Okoye,opened up on why she loves him and the challenges that come with dating a celeb. Read excerpts from her interview below;
I love Peter because he was never intimidated. When I met him, he was just trying to build himself and I was very proud of him. I have a lot of respect for him, his talent and I saw that he had a vision. Peter doesn’t get intimidated by anything; in fact, he supports and encourages me all the time. I think he’s happy that he doesn’t have to do everything; he can rely on me that I will take care of our kids.
